If anyone told me that this small workout done at least 5 times per week could result in my abs stronger and my backache completely gone I would not believe it. But here I am living proof. Even if you don't do anything else just keep on doing this workout. You will become stronger.

Thank you for your deliberate and intentional verbal instruction. It's one thing to see the practicioners demonstrate the poses, but quite an added benefit to hear the Yogi give very thoughtful and good instruction. The best Yoga channel by far for us beginners.

I have referred to this video for four years. Lower back pain used to plague me all the time...these days I use it as a preventive maintenance. I recommend this specific video to all...no matter how much pain I am experiencing I always find relief...I also use it to just relax, and slow my brain at the end of the day...I often fall asleep just as it is finishing or just before! This exercise also slows me down to a very relaxed state. I am looking forward to more yoga but taking my time and introducing it slowly. It also makes me think of the importance of meditation and slowing down. Meditation is next on my list.

It's amazing how much this simple yoga exercise has helped my lower back. When I start out crossed legged I lean to the left and in some pain. When I first lay down my back is in some pain. I make it though all the way and at the end when you sit cross legged after the relaxation, I am perfectly balanced and straight. I did this for some months and my back stopped hurting so I stopped. The pain slowly came back so I started again and now I am sticking with it. It also helps in breathing and my concentration is so much better. The music is wonderful too. Especially the last when the man and woman singing. Thank you so much for this video!!!!!!

You are probably not doing yourself any harm, but if the pain is very severe or persists, you can see a doctor. Many people have bad posture but if you are persistent with yoga you can improve it. I know this from my own personal experience. Good luck to you!
