I felt so relaxed by the instructor's voice. Twenty minutes went by so quickly. As I am new to yoga, I was able to follow his instructions with minimal viewing; he spoke slowly and articulately. I will continue using this video for another week or so to become acclimated to steps of relaxation throughout my body. Awesome workout!

Body position starting at 6:45 is perfect for deep trance meditation , this position and been extremely relaxed helped me achieve out of body experiences were you snap out of your body into space. One thing though the hands must also be relaxed and fully opened not fingers curled up like here in the video. Overall a great starter video !!

This was wonderful, thank you. I've been told that yoga is good for me, and when I can get it to work it's wonderful. But often, i'm doing it at the end of a long day, and many youtube instructors talk so fast and have me do so many complicated new things that I end up overwhelmed and curled up in child's pose. I did not feel that way at all with this video.

This is the video I chose for my first ever Yoga session. I have had chronic, often severe lower back pain due to degenerative disc disease. I listened to a few others before deciding on this one, partly because of the soothing voice of the instructor and the very clear, easy to follow instructions. I was tense at first but found that I had loosened up considerably by the end of the video. I wasn't able to sit up from a lying down position because of my disc problems but hope that my muscles will strengthen sufficiently to do so.

Thank you for this video. I love yoga, and this is going to help me achieve a healthier lifestyle. I have fibromyalgia, so there are some poses I can't do (yet), like that reverse plank, but I'll get there! I love that this is so my speed, most of the other "beginner" yoga classes and videos are not really geared towards beginners. I am going to do this every day, thank you thank you thank you!

I also have fibro and felt the same way about this video! I've tried several over 2 weeks and this one fit my newby needs and my limitations better than most the other ones.

Victoria C I've got ME/CFS and have been recommended to try Yoga also. Good to know others in similar positions find it beneficial! Any kind of exercise makes me panic, for obv. reasons.

Emma, I understand your fear! I was the same way too, and I started very slowly, sometimes only being able to stretch for 5 minutes and then having to stop. But I very gradually did more and more. I wish you luck sweetheart!

I've been watching this video for years and I always feel so good afterwards. This is a great video for those who are not very flexible or have chronic back pain. I love how relaxing the narration is as well.

Very relaxing... I feel so relax when I do Yoga at the Himalaya with the sound of river and birds chirping sound. I live in Kangra, Himachal. There's a Bird Sanctuary near Pong Dam, Kangra must-visit for Yoga lovers.

Thank you for this video, this is the first time I've attempted yoga in many many years and after feeling incredibly still and awkward in the beginning, but by the end of the video, I felt elongated and fluid and felt the positive energy flowing through my body. Thank you.

I still come back to this video after many years. It’s so refreshing to see this type of yoga class when nowadays you go to a yoga studio and I feel like there’s so much distractions such as loud music and fancy surroundings.

I similarly have been watching this video and the video for strengthening your back and both now have ads. It saddens me because I really enjoy this time to relax.
