Thank you for making and sharing your yoga videos. These videos had me moving after surgery and through continued healing, and now help me maintain function, movement, and release from everyday soreness. Your calm, kind and gentle way is just what I need too get ahead of pain. You are the best!

Hi Joelle from Sydney 🌼 - I’ve recently felt very burnt out and your yoga sessions have been a God send in my healing journey. I liked this one. With the first on the back with legs and arms stretched, should your lower back be flat against the ground?

Good question Katrina, and I'm glad you liked it! Most of us have a natural curvature in the lower spine, meaning it would be all but impossible to keep the lower back completely flat. That said, we should be thinking about engaging a bit through the abs to press the low spine TOWARDS the mat so that we're keeping everything nice and active. I hope that makes sense!
