Interesting video! I had never gone from Plank to Up Dog. Great way to estimate the amount of pelvis support necessary to keep a long low back in Up Dog. And then, the trickiest pose for me : Twisted Half Moon... Well, I did my best! I keep practicing this pose and one day, with your help, I'll master it! Thanks for this class!

Nice one, Tim. It's funny how I wobble on the blocks.. even though I need them to keep my spine straight. Do you have any advice for the stress put on my forward knee and ankle during the forward bend pose? (The one with the hands behind the back).

Loved today's practice! Thank you Tim and Caroline. In plank on forearm, I'm trying to press more weight into my forearms but keep feeling it mostly in my shoulders. Am I doing something incorrectly?

Hey, I'm not Tim or Caroline, but I hope you find this useful. What I did was I planked in front of a mirror and noticed that I was curling my upper back and neck, clutching my inner shoulders closer then the "broad collar bones" that Tim mentions often, and I noticed my forearms weren't paralel to a wall in front of me. That is, shoulders were stacked behind the elbows. So. Down to a mat. Into a sfings pose. Find the right position of the upper body - shoulders in line with elbows, finding space in the chest, shoulder rotated externaly, active, not stacked on the back and not pushing away from the floor, but somewhwre inbetween - again, finding space. Then, curl the toes under, activate the legs, especially in the inner thighs which go slightly towards the ceiling. Then, activate the core and lift. Really hope this helps. Good luck!

my right ankle is quite weak (part of an old big injury), i feel it being strained the most in wide side stances. i've been narrowing my stance to try to alleviate the strain on my ankle... what do you do when your ankle is tweaked?
