Lol, but he didn't need to be at Blue lock, he was one of the people crying about having to play nationals yet still entered the program anywa. What's even worse is that Kira was the highest ranked of all of them so he could've easily survived if he took the ball off Isagi and tried to knock someone else out like Bachira i.e had a similar level of ego as Bachira and Isagi (which he does) but because he came here with the intention of proving ego wrong he ended up supressing his desire to be number 1 and got caught lacking. Worry not though this isn't the end of Kira's career if you're familiar with the sport most athletes make their money by playing in a domestic league or if they're really successful they play in one of the top 5 leagues in the world so Kira's career as a footballer is far from over

How could you think that when literally in the first minute we saw that Isagi lost because of the teamwork and he was the first one to react to Ego's selfish vision of soccer it was obvious that they were not going to be friends either Ryosuke was going to be a liar who was also selfish that's why he joined the project when before he had questioned Ego's philosophy or he was going to be eliminated because he was not selfish enough.

Ryosuke won that first match with team work and stated that he is nothing without them in his interview. It is very common for the main character to lose a battle but their ideology is still right it is to build tension
