Hi Sonya, I am not Jewish, but I really love watching your cooking video's and then I also watch Amir Tsarfati, also from Israel. You have a rich tradition and when I read my Bible, I just stand in awe of what God miraculously did for the Jewish people from thousands of years ago, until today. May God richly bless you and your family Sonya. Have a fantastic day. Lots of love from South Africa.

Enjoyed watching your videos. You make mujadarah differently. We usually boil the lentils until they are half cooked, then add small grain rice and let it cook with the lentils. Before the rice fully cooks, we add the oil. Then fry the onions on low heat in olive oil and pour it over the mujadarah including the olive oil used to fry the onions. The taste will be delicious. I like to eat mine with a mild nachos as a sauce on top

Hi Sonia, you have my gratitude for all the tips and recipes that I have incorporated into my own cooking. I especially appreciate it when you let us know which recipes freeze well. It helps a lot when I can cook ahead for Yontif. I have a question that I hope you''ll be able to answer. I live in lower Westchester and the only Kosher butcher I have access to is Seasons. You often cook with cuts of meat that I never see there. As my daughter lives in Queens, I was hoping you could tell me where you shop so that I could widen my choices. Thanks so much!
@SonyasPrep4 ай бұрын
Even at large supermarkets don’t ever be afraid to ask to speak with the butcher and inquire about the types of meats or cuts that you are interested in. They are usually very accommodating. I don’t have a specific butcher that I go to. Lately I shop at bingo.
