@lilies92512 жыл бұрын
@@brucezidane Hi. I demoed VC98 only once, so I cannot give a strong opinion. It played similar to PA VS 98 (my previous racquet), but felt a bit weird, I reckon because of the isometric shape? VC95, having a smaller head (and quite round), felt perfect. The head is smaller, so it is quite whippy, serves, volleys, touch shots are great. Compared with the 98, it feels less powered, and more controlled and maneuverable. I did not feel any discomfort because of the smaller head size. I use 2HBH, so I can't tell you how it feels for 1HBH, but many reviews say it is great. Finally, the head feels a bit too light, so I added 4 grams at 6 and 9 for more stability. To summarize the answer to your questions: head size no problem, it is less powered and more controlled and whippy, I don't know about 1HBH. And the most important advice: demo before buying!

Vcore pro I think. I strung my pro 97 hd at 52 and it's much softer than my friends ezone98 at 47. We both agreed and we both have some arm issues. Ezone also has a bigger launch angle, which I don't like. (I'm not sure if that is because of the 18x20 string pattern or just a general difference) Vcore pro does require you to swing harder/better technique, because it has less power. I think dropping my tension considerably to 48/46 will help with that.

@MrMSS222 жыл бұрын
If a tighter pattern resulted in both a better control and better bite, there wouldn’t be any reason for a more open pattern. A more open pattern allows the ball to sink in deeper and increases the contact time. Thus, given the same movement, a more open pattern benefits spin, no matter whether it is backspin (slice) or topspin.

why is prostaff better in your opinion?
@bowsershark3 жыл бұрын
@@flodar1548 Aloha! I did not actually say the RF sticks were better but they did better fit my play style. . Comparatively speaking, the RF97V13 is in a different class by itself due to the heavier weight, much more head lightness, bigger swing wt and stiffer frame. Thus, there is access to more stability, more power, more plow through, controlled launch angle, serve kick ability and top spin due to the 16x19 string pattern. . The Ezone frame felt to big, to unyielding and lacked enough control for me. I didn't like the thicker frame and it's benefits. . The Vcore 98 was a spin monster with shaped string and had a crazy high launch angle. It was fun! Yet, it had less control, lighter plow through and a bit less stable for high power hitting engagements. . The 97 Vcore's tighter 16x20 string pattern did not suit me. But, I did like the way it swings. So, the demo of the three was actually beneficial because it reinforced what I liked in my racquet. But, although I did not fall in love with another racquet. I found a strong like for shaped string which I have not used in my RF97V13 to date. Now, i have the string and cannot wait to use it as a hybrid(Luxilon rough ALU Power, Luxilon Element Rough with Luxilon VIBE). I might have to use a more aggressive shaped string. But, Finding a new wrinkle to exploit is the best part of the demo experiences.😊.

Just did'n explained one main point, that the denser spacing in the Ezone means more control for flat hitters and less spin and launch angle compared to vcore98. And please learn the name of the racquets you are selling. It's Vcore Pro 97. It's confusing when you call it Vcore 97 Pro, because the Family is Vcore Pro, Vcore and Ezone, and Pro is not one kind of Vcore. 97, 97H, 97D... are in the Vcore Pro line, and not 97 Pro in the Vcore line.

I am more confused...

My general understanding is that yonex marketed these racquets like this… Pro: feel/control Vcore: spin Ezone: power Babolat does the same with pure strike, aero, and drive. Wilson also with blade/prostaff, burn, and ultra. Don’t know about Head because they are confusing.

they do not matchup at all. I have played with all yonex and babolat racquets. Yonex doesn't really make power racquets, they are all control racquets with diff variations. Vcore pro is feel, vcore is spin and ezone is flat. the ezone gets mistaken for a power racquet but its honestly not in the 98 version.... 100 version maybe u can call it somewhat of a power racquet.

Gravity = Feel / Control Extreme = Spin/power Prestige = Precision Speed = A mix of Spin, Power and Control (all around racquets)... this is my undestanding from playing with them... not sure where the radical line fits as i never played 1

Doesn't he know that "putting his spin on your tennis" is actually a BAD thing? Not sure about anyone else, but I would want the truth about something, not somebody else's "spin" on something. See enough of that approach in Washington politics.
