I have two Yongnuo YN600EX-RT II along with the Yongnuo YN-E3-RT trigger system. I stopped using regular AA batteries on the YN600EX-RT II and switched over to rechargeable AA batteries. What I found out that the recycle time is much faster using rechargeable over standard batteries.

Hey. I got a YN560-TX Manual Flash Controller a few years ago from a friend. At that time I wasn't inerested in flash phoography but he gave it to me saying "if you ever get interested...". I was wondering if this conroller could work as triggers for a YN568 or YN685. It would save me a few bucks on a new trigger.

As I can see on my own YN-685N there isn't MASTER option. YN-685N is a TTL Slave Flash! Correct me if I'm wrong and teach me how to make it master flash without any additional transmitters. I'm considering to buy YN-968N so I can use it as a on camera master flash, and to be able to make TTL connection with my old YN-685N which will be used as a off camera flash without any transmitters and receivers. I'm right? Cheers :)

Which HSS flash/trigger combo would you recommend? I'm currently using YN660 flash with YN560TX with my Nikon cameras, but really need HSS. I was thinking to get YN685 flash and YN622TX or YN-E3-RT trigger. Now, as far as I can see, YN622TX comes as a trigger/reciever kit, so I guess I'd also be able to use my YN660 flash in HSS mode. Is YN-E3-RT a noticable upgrade over YN622TX? Any suggestions on what's the best combo for HSS? Thanks in advance!

@@milavanili High Speed Sync - you need it if you want to use a flash with shutter speeds faster than 1/200s.
@krane154 жыл бұрын
@@milavanili Basically your camera shutter reaches a speed (1/8000) so that it surpasses the sync with the flash and can't register all the light. HSS is a way of strobing the flash so you have even light across the entire frame without dark edges where the shutter closes before it could register all the light evenly from the flash. Its something that's a lot easier to see on the photo than to explain.

A question that I have not been able to figure out for myself: Can I use a YN560TX to trigger one of the TTL flashes in slave mode? And, will the TTL flash accept the power change settings in Manual mode from the 560 TX? I ask this because I think I would like to have a manual setup for many lights and one TTL flash for smaller setups.
@hypop6 жыл бұрын
Hi Bill, The YN560-TX controller is only directly compatible with the Yongnuo 560/660 series of flashes. If you're using TTL flashes, you will need the newer YN622 II transreceiver underneath each TTL flash to control them in a manual setup. The new YN622 II transreceivers have a 560-RX mode to work within the 560 wireless system. More info can be found here: flashhavoc.com/yongnuo-yn560-tx-to-yn-622c-compatibility-added/
