Saurav Dubey which is dumb because she still might be acting. Let me explain. She knows she cant leave big mom and live thats what the lola flashback was for. However she doesnt want sanji and luffy to feel sorry for her. So she forces luffy and the crew to hate her so they wont feel sorry. She tells her plans to the vinsmokes so they would attack first before the wedding. Which would allow sanji and her to escape. But she wont hook up with sanji because she believes its her fault. But knowing sanji and the crew they would risk theirs lives to save her. *It amazes me that nobody considers that Pudding is acting this chapter.* All the information regarding the massacre of the Vinsmokes and her killing Sanji is coming only from Pudding in secret and is only revealed to the people that care about him - Reiju, Luffy and Nami. She claims all her family knows of her true side yet she goes into the book to whisper into Luffy ear about the planned massacre. She does the same with Reiju, behind closed doors. Why wouldn't she just say it out loud in front of her family if it was true? She even continued to fake cry as she left the book. Why continue to act if her family already knows she's evil, she just told Luffy she's evil and they're all planning to murder them tomorrow? She even kept it a secret from her family that she had scheduled a meeting with the SHs on the coast of the Seducing Woods. Why would she do that? She told them the secret passage too and Big Mom was confused about how they got there. Furthermore, why tell Reiju about it. Fair enough the SHs can't leave the book but won't Reiju tell her family? What is she gonna kidnap Reiju and cause suspicions? And does she really not possess any Haki to sense Sanji outside her window? Big Mom's elite daughter? I don't buy that. Big Mom has shown she's negotiable. She said it before to Sanji and to Luffy, and even displayed it in this week's chapter. She kept dropping the amount of years she'd take away from Pedro showing she's not completely evil, and this is someone who robbed her, so why lie to Sanji about sparing his friends? Would Peckoms welcome the SHs into certain death after showing them the level of gratitude he did? Big Mom has already married off her daughters so why would now be the one time she breaks her diplomatic customs and murders everyone? Does she even know how the cloning works? Why would killing the Vinsmokes grant them the loyalty of the Germa army and knowledge of their technology after the wedding? Why not just do it now? Why order Luffy and Nami to be captured alive if she wanted them dead? Pudding is acting to get both the Vinsmokes and Straw Hats to want to leave. Then she'll run away like Lola did. That flashback between the two of them has to have some merit. The readers are the ones that got duped this chapter and Sanji's face is obscured on the last page because Oda doesn't want to make it obvious that Sanji knows she's lying. The first is it clears up without doubt that Pudding isn't evil, neither is Big Mom. The second is that Sanji's Observation Haki is above Luffy and Zoro's because it's gotten to a point where he can tell a person's state of mind. He did something similar on Punk Hazard when he could tell Tashigi was in distress. Luffy and Zoro didn't notice Tashigi then and Luffy doesn't notice Pudding is lying now. This was a clever chapter. It masks the reality of the events up ahead. This arc will be ending soon because Pudding will run away and the Germa will leave to avoid the "massacre" and the only one who will know of Pudding's sacrifice will be Sanji.

MoonStar it is obvious that Pudding is doing this against Mama's wishes, she wants to go against her too. You spinning all this 4d chess game, were there were PLENTY inconsistencies with Pudding's plan from the get go. She met the Straw Hats with the Carpet and the jello homie, but we were supposed that they didn't tell Big Mom about Pudding helping the SHs. Brulee made Sanji and Pudding clones on the beach, how was she supposed to know they were expected there? Pudding claimed to have met Sanji beforehand, in the flashback with the flowers, and this was also a lie. Not to mention that Pudding claimed to bring Sanji to the beach, but she never even attempted to let Sanji know about it. Pudding has been set up for weeks now to be a weasle, but hey who knows, maybe she isn't evil. But I can't deny that you are stretching it veeeeeery hard to make a claim about that.

Sanji's Haki is highly perceptive to crying women. And that's something we've seen from as far back as Punk Hazard when he heard Tashigi crying. It isn't just an internal bias, he can tell. Furthermore his face was shaded out. It wasn't despair. Oda wanted to keep it ambiguous. And that's not even all of it. If we take Pudding's word it contradicts a lot of what was shown. Big Mom has always engaged in political marriages and she shown that she's reasonable by lowering the amount of years she took from Pedro who robbed her and blinded Tamago. Why would she lie now? Why would she lie to the SHs in front of nobody but her family who, according to Pudding, know about the supposed massacre? Why would Pudding whisper it to Luffy so the other family members in the room didn't hear her? Why would she be concerned with meeting the SHs on the coast of the Seducing Woods? Why would Oda show us that flashback of her and Lola?

We know that SHE knew that Pudding was talking to Luffy and company, even before this chapter, because of the fact Brulee knew that both Sanji and Pudding were supposed to be on the coast, proven by her making clones of both Pudding and Sanji. With this in mind, we turn to Big Mom and Luffys conversation. When Big Mom flat out states there's NO way Pudding could be their friend, even with prior knowledge of them talking, it tells you everything you need to know. The only way Pudding betrays Big Mom is if it's for her own interests, not to help Sanji and Luffy.

His only way to do that is with haki, which both he and Vista used and then were confused as to why it didn't work. It had nothing to do with his devil fruit. Next, I'm going to ignore the fact that you called Garp a weakling because that's stupid. It doesn't matter if Marco got shut down by him at Marineford(he didn't, he just got knocked down and then immediately got back up but w/e), that is, once again, haki based. His Devil Fruit allows him to practically ignore physical attacks, Garp being able to hit him has nothing to do with his devil fruit not being good. And finally, Marco doubtlessly took down tons of the marine's forces during the war, we saw him get good hits in on both Kizaru as well as Aokiji. And for a third time, that had very little to do with his devil fruit. Your problems with Marco seem to be with him as a combatant and less with his Devil Fruit. His fruit itself is quite powerful, the issues you have with Marco had nothing to do with his Devil Fruit, but his performance at Marineford.

One is in this chapter where she says she is get sick of Big Mom pampering her and then abruptly stops. Teal 003 Exactly. Kishimoto isn't the kind of writer who had twists in his manga like that. It was pretty obvious. Just like it was obvious that the fourth Hokage was Naruto's dad. The reveal was entirely anticlimatic.

Stephen Carroll The fact that you didn't realize that Kishimoto wrote twists that were entirely obvious is astounding. Naruto was never a manga with a twisting, complex story. I'm not sure why you or others didn't pick up on that early on and realize that if something in that manga was pointing to the obvious conclusion (Tobi being Obito or 4th Hokage being Naruto's dad) then that's what the conclusion was going to be.

After going back to chapter 848 I'm the tiniest bit skeptical about Pudding and her motives. Pudding's flashback was a personal one set up to either flat out trick us or give us some future insight on what is going to go down. Why did Pudding fake those tears if she was surrounded by the people that know her true nature? What was the point? She had flashbacks about Big Mom being super controlling which leads me to believe that evil or not she still wants out. If the flashbacks were fabrications then it seems like a cheap way to trick us but I can forgive it. I'm hype to see how this all eventually turns out but I'm staying skeptical lol.

Personally I think at this point that Pudding is intending on using the fight with Germa to weaken Bib Mom and try to kill her and take over the Bib Mom pirates for herself. Remember that she says that she is sick of Big Mom pampering her. And then there was Big Mom saying in an earlier chaper that everyone has someone they want to kill
