Now we have got the classic Mazda on a roll over jig, we can now finally attend to the rusty chassis rails, floor and underbody much easier! This classic car is starting to have more good metal that bad metal on it now and we cannot say how excited we are to get it back on the road once more!
This 1 of 1100 car is one of a kind and the kind when it comes to rotary powered cars. The pinnacle of Mazda is sat in our workshop on the block for restoration!

I’ve followed your work practically from day one and whilst all your work is amazing I’ve got to say when I first saw this car I thought it was scrap but the work you’ve done on this car is incredible! You guys need to change the channel name to the ‘ Metal Manipulation Maestros’ channel! This has raised the bar in car restoration! One word-: LEGENDS.

Firstly let me say love the channel, keep being yourselves, it works. However the downside to this channel is the switching between projects and not returning to them for months on end. I understand there are probably a lot of factors at play, but it’s hard to retain interest when the project you’re invested in has been shelved for months or more. We all want to see the Mat Armstrong E24 completed. Also Colin’s E30, Shmee’s 914, the RS2000, the restomod 911, the other red ‘84 911, THE DISASTER DATSUN, others I’m definitely forgetting…and now this gorgeous Mazda Cosmo 110s. All of them projects are awesome, but all the interst I build up during one of these series is lost when it gets shelved for months, and then the next project I watch I’m less enthusiastic for because eventually I know it’ll get shelved for a period of time. What I’m ultimately trying to to say is it’d be nice if you just had one or two projects that are regularly uploaded until they are completed and then run with another project until completion and so on. Or at least give updates about your current projects at the end of every video so we know what’s next and why we might be waiting for a while 🤷🏻‍♂️ Much love though, keep up the honest humour you guys have, and please forgive any of my ignorance in how your business operates.

Are you ever tempted to up the thickness of metal on more structural parts such as chassis rails? Obviously if areas needing replacement have the symmetrical counterparts also redone.

Hi guys. Your channel is top notch awesome. I’m from South Africa and follow all your vids. However, so many people are asking over and over, what has happened to Mat Armstrong’s white BMW you were restoring. You guys never answer that question. So what has happened to it. Are we going to see anymore of it on your channel?

How do you weld such big gaps without blowing holes?
@Juntasification
@Juntasification 12 күн бұрын
You want a air gap when buttwelding. Use an hour to make a panel and it has a bit of gap somewhere... Are you gonna redo the whole thing? No. You can use a trip of metal or tig wire as filler or place a piece of copper behing and fill it with weld. Not the greatest, but its not rocket science.
