I think there is a difference between being proud of something for example your body and being satisfied. You can be proud of the progress you've made and the body you've built but you should never be fully satisfied with it. You should always strive for the better. That's what self improvement is about.

People start self-improvement and think they are the GOAT all of a sudden. This takes months, if not years of consistency to truly gain a significant level of progress. Don't let your ego blind you, and understand that there are many guys, who are way ahead of you. Stay humble and push forward.

Life is about the journey, not the destination. Too much focus and attention on the destination is a mistake.
@MrBam-gq2su2 жыл бұрын
I don't think you should nessecarily think about who's ahead of you. I don't know if that's a healthy mindset. In my opinion you should happily think of what you still can do. You can do a lot of money if you want to. You can achieve that I dunno 100 pushups and be happy about it. If you constantly compare yourself with others I don't think you will really become happy. Learn from others yes but don't compare

They knew this back in the Sokrates days. “I know that I know nothing”. The true wisdom comes with accepting that you have always so much to learn and it doesn't matter if the people you talk to are "above" you or "below" you. Everybody has experienced certain events in their lives and we can learn from that. The only way to move forward is accept that you will most certainly never know everything

@@baguettaroshish3507 There were many people who agreed with him and stood by his teachings. But I understand your point. Obviously, I don't agree with everything he's said and produced. My point is that even some people in old ages understood that you cannot master everything and you always have lot to learn. And it's the same at this time and age. Millions of people would absolutely disagree with this video but it is an absolutely inevitable truth that you always have something to learn and you can never say that you know everything. My point was not that Socrates is the best person ever but to point out that he already knew this back at that age. Even though some hated him for that he was right. He explained self improvement in a way I could understand and apply it to my life, and Ive been almost perfectly consistent with it. If you’re struggling with improving your life, don’t sweat it. It’s a process that you work on for months before you start seeing tangible results

I also thought about this. Many are currently in this infotainment and mental masturbation trap (including myself for extended periods of time) It’s great for KZbinrs like Hamza, but I think he also stated in the past that his best recommendation at a certain point is to simply stop watching these videos and start doing. That statement is of course working against his own goals of getting bigger audiences etc. but i think he is a real one for actually wanting to help people. Good thing for him 99% of people will keep watching anyways. So if you want to break out, build a system for yourself with the knowledge of the internet and simply start doing. Throw your phone out of the window. You learn the most when actually doing and applying to your own life.

Humility is really the key to everything. I know many are not religious, but think of it this way. If Pride is the precursor, the origin of all sin, then Humility would be the origin of all virtue. To be humble is the only way you can truly say ‘okay, I have been lazy, I have been sleeping around too much, I have been too greedy’ and that is the only path to growth one could take. And I’m not preaching to anyone as a “God” or even somewhere close to Adonis. I’m preaching as an idiot trying to do better. Thank you Hamza for the vid and opening the line of dialogue. I agree 100% with the concept of "you're not good enough mindset" but eventually you need to develop a healthy ego, if you can never get to the point of having one. You'll subconsciously never break past things holding you back. This leads to things like body dysmorphophobia and speech issues. Being able to tell yourself in the mirror "you're the man, I'm the shit" is very important for the mental well-being and self image of a man.

Hey Hamza, I've been exercising exercising 2-3 times a week, I meditate now and feel like I've gotten a more healthy relationship with my thoughts (I used to overthink way too much while now I can actually sort of control it), I got a habit tracker, I pretty much cut out the video games, I am a lot more productive (I used to procrastinate like a lot but I actually got a lot better at avoiding distractions n stuff), I keep a gratitude journal and I spend at least 8.5 hours in bed. I'm truly fucking grateful for you Hamza. I know you always say that you're not responsible for the progress that your viewers make, that it is us who put in the time and effort to improve ourselves, but I feel like don't credit yourself enough for putting all this advice out there. If I wouldn't have stumbled across your channel, I'd still be like 3 months ago. jesus man, it's amazing to see how much progress you can make in 3 months. I may not have improved a lot physically but I sure as hell do feel way more content with who I am and I ain't done yet. I have a question bro.Truth is: I'm 5'7, my friends are all over 6'3 except for one guy, who's sort of in the same position as me I guess. I don't know what it is. I want to feel a sense of dominance, I want to become more of a leader-like figure (if you're wondering, my friends haven't seen my youtube channel, I sort of care about my reputation so I avoided telling them at all costs), but I just feel so limited in my abilities due to my shitty height. Everyone tells me that I can't change my height and that it's not 'that big of a deal', yet I feel like a child amongst full-grown men. I feel like I hit puberty at a rather young age, yet I am still wondering if you have any tips I can implement in my life to increase my height. I've seen yt vids on the topic but idk if I can just blindly trust what they say. I got trust in you so that's why I'm asking ya. And yes, I will continue to try to find peace with who I am. I am trying to do so, and I accept most of my flaws, yet this one just feels so saddening
@c.s13932 жыл бұрын
Your height is nothing you can control and ,yes, it is a disadvantage in dominance but understand you can amplify other areas to "compensate" for that and be respected as a leader. Knowledge, wealth, success, a high quality lifestyle, great body language makes other men respect you and view you as a leader. Bezos, Putin, Napoleon were/are all fairly short.
@awaisahmed43182 жыл бұрын
Height has nothing to do with it. I was 6’3 at 14 in secondary school. I wasn’t the alpha leader dominator. The guy who was was about 5’6. It’s about presence. In my favourite anime One Piece the captain of the main crew is 5’7 and most of his crew members are bigger than him but his indomitable will and actions are felt by his crew and all these other characters who are giants. The same applies in real life.

Thank you Hamza for changing my life. I don't care if I'm fangirling, I just want to say that I'm really greatful for your advice. Because of you, my life has turned upside down and I now also make self improvement videos in German :)

Hamza my bro, I’ve been a jeffry most of my life until I discovered your videos and ever since then I’ve been doing the hard work especially when I didn’t feel like it. And during the times when I was down bad as hell, I knew what I should be doing but just didn’t know the steps to take but after watching your videos I figured it all out and now Alhamdulillah I’m consistent with it and rarely watching your videos these days except the ones where you speak about business related things on your unfiltered channel just so I can plan things out for myself In Shaa Allah. But just wanted to say thank you for inspiring us men with the things that you teach us. I honestly needed to hear every single word and I’m forever grateful for you brother. In Shaa Allah I get to meet you one day here in london bro keep doing your thing ❤️
