The arc hand cannon is better on hunter. I got the new heal/incandescent sidearm on my first drop it's fun but killed my overall kill count by 35%. Went from not dying at all to dying a few times

For those of us who do not yet have the Final Shape campaign, The Call is not even an option because the Pale Heart is not available to us beyond the first mission. Similarly, for those who don’t have Warlord’s Ruin, Indebted Kindness is not an option. Aberrant Action will be just the first or second rocket-assisted sidearm for a lot of people and it seems like a great introduction to the archetype. Heal Clip and Incandescent is a great combination. I have a Timeworn Wayfarer (scout rifle), a Heliocentric QSC (sidearm), and a Luna Regolith III (sniper rifle) with that pairing and it’s great on all of them.

I still prefer the call, but the addition of these new weapons allowed me to use heavy weapons. I only used to do Banshee's bounties it's fun to play again for me. I'm a solo player, and I'm starting to enjoy playing again just like way back.

You do t need it to be greyed out or on screen. You can still get them from focusing even before it shows up on the screen, you just have to unlock it in collections

So, I was able to craft the sidearm in 2 hours without using any deepsight harmonizers. Here is exactly how I did it: First, you need to go to Ikora, start the act 2 storyline. Follow the questline & eventually you will have to do the new battleground activity (launched on Nessus, initially) for me, after finishing this I received a red border sidearm. I actually went ahead and did the rest of the storyline until the timegated story, where the quest says “check back with failsafe later”. After that, When you go to Failsafe, and can see the grayed-out sidearm on the focusing page, you can now start opening the weapon-focused engrams that cost 2 engrams each. I opened around 70-80 of them, and got 4 more red border sidearms. 😊

Let me give you a tip, instead using 2 engrams to focus on weapons you can use 1 if you have a character you haven’t done the seasonal activity with that has no armor collected. As long as you have unlocked the sidearm first it will only cost 1 engram and you only get weapons 👍 just open the engram by the seasonal rank bar

@@byebyefiat sorry yes, you do need to get at least one sidearm, use a character that you haven’t done the activity with or one that you haven’t gotten any armor with. When you see failsafe turn the engrams in at the top section where you see the experience bar for the activity where there’s an engram. For one engram instead of 2 for weapon focusing. It says, “you get rewarded for items you have already collected” meaning if you haven’t collected armor you only collect guns for one engram

I had five red boarders drop for me as I was running the activities. I can't believe I was able to unlock it already. Looking forward to trying different perk combos. You can start gambling on the engrams for drops as soon as you load into the game. You don't have to have the greyed out one sitting there

So you can use this God Tier Weapon for longer obviously. By all means play the game at your own pace, there's nothing wrong with that. But there's ALSO nothing wrong with being an absolute grinder and wanting the Best Stuff ASAP. But no matter how you play, the point of the video is that this new sidearm slaps and it is absolutely worth your time to craft.

At least before they took away legendary shards, you could at least get a little value out of them, now they are worth absolutely nothing...
