Hi Alice, thanks for taking the time to make these videos which are edifying to all who have ears to hear having had their spirit made alive by putting their faith in Jesus Christ and are able to relate to and see the fruit of your honesty as you sow and or water (depending on the viewer) the listener in faith. I understand the brokenness in your voice when you said "everything we want is in him". I myself as you have, know that brokenness because where God is, there is a peace that surpasses all understanding. Peter said "it's a joy unspeakable and full of glory. Thanks for the edification. God bless you.

Ways I am inspired without needing to sin: 1. Read the bible, meditate on it, generate art based your meditation 2. Go into nature and enjoy God's creation, truly observe it and become a part of it, generate art based on that experience 3. Meditate without stimulus, listen to yourself, listen to God, generate art 4. Read a book, take a scene from a book, generate art based on that scene. I like to do this with old sci-fi novels you need to synthesize your experiences or the experiences of others and use that as inspiration. Doing things that bring you out of Reality bring you away from yourself and God. Any art you create influenced by drugs is not your art, it is the drug's art.

"For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few". Matthew 7:14. I'm just gonna hit y'all with the cold water here. There is a church WITHIN the church that will actually be saved; the church that learns only through Jesus and his trusted Holy word. Not some college girl whose message is a complete blasphemous joke. Consider this His warning. Matthew 7:21-23 (ESV): "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' @24丹老师26 күн бұрын
The 2nd part is quite hard to me because I'm an introvert with social anxiety and no one recognizes me sincerely, so it's impossible to me to build true relationships. (I constantly get fake compliments so other people might have this illusion that I'm appreciated and loved, and they might even envy me because of that). However, thank you for your refreshing message. You are helping young Christians more than all the institutionalized pastors and priests in this world combined. I think the Church now doesn't respond enough to young people's problems so it needs a new Reformation led by people like you.
@hennagaijin785621 күн бұрын
If you are an introvert, it means you get your strength from within yourself and not by reinforcement from others. That's why, after a long period of time being around others, you need to be by yourself in order to build your strength back up, something known in American English as "recharging the batteries." You can form relationships, but only with two or three people at one time because it is a full time job being attentive to many people at once. When you have conversations, you want deep, stimulating conversations, not the shallow chit chatting of the extroverts. I agree with you when you imply that churches prefer extroverted people, as church is treated (It almost always has been) as more of a socializing environment than a time to grow together in Jesus. And human beings, because we are flawed, are prone to create drama, and like a true introvert, I hate people drama. The Apostle Peter was a drama king, constantly getting himself in difficult situations because he couldn't keep his big mouth shut and listen to smarter, wiser people...like Jesus. Drama is something that proliferates social anxiety disorder that you refer to. If there is any advice I can give, it is to be proud of being an introvert. Introverts are laid back people who don't get on the nerves of others. I'm not saying we're better than extroverts. I mean, if not for extroverts, we introverts would procrastinate our lives away. We're probably much more patient than we should be, by nature. But we don't give ourselves heart attacks like all too many extroverts. We're simple people. Do you know how many people out there who would love to be the source of their own strength but can't? That's a priceless gift from God that you should thank him for every day.

Wen I first got into the creative design field to learn graphic design, I noticed a lot of digital and graphic artist seem to get their inspiration from the occult. The thing you said about sin being like oil for an artist. I resonated with that so much because I use to believe marijuana was a gateway to creativity. Yes, it works very well in the short term; I felt like I had superpowers at moments. But in the long term you are trading your life and slowly it eats away at your soul
@7x7793 ай бұрын
I'm so glad that you said that. I am dealing with it now, not in myself, but in Council and confrontation of other younger believers. They are in such ignorance and denial, I'm really astonished that there's so many people who call themselves Christians that are smoking pot and even quoting scripture as a Biblical excuse for their fellowship with Satan and deception that comes through it And it's as though they think they know more then I do and that they're more enlightened and closer to God because of it, not realizing that I've been there done that and have come out the other side Even more sad, is that one of them went into an inflamed rage an advert for having been close to them for decades, they turned their back on me and then accuse me of everything that they're doing, and suggested that I need to do the things to get help, that they actually need to do It was absolute insanity simply because I mentioned that marijuana could be contributing to their mental breakdown anxiety frustration angst and false imaginations

As a man, a good man whatever that means, it's really good to see you voice this mindset. I got so tired of dealing with these women these days, that I have stopped trying to meet someone entirely. All the sleeping around, boss bitches, disrespectful women lying, cheating, and so much more, has left me to feel there's no good women out here anymore. Don't want to be in control, or isolate my wife/girlfriend from others. Just want a trustful wife ,mother to our kids, appreciative, partner, lover, friend, to build a life with together. Not based on money or prestige, or position in life. How about trust and love. Maybe a sense of humor? But apparently that's asking to much anymore. So here goes another wasted good man, left by the wayside, when supposedly women are wondering "where are all the goodmen at". Good channel, good mindset. Wish there were more like you/her. And yes actually, I'm an artist as well, a painter. I have no muse. No inspiration except the dark and morbid. Why paint that.

I never once imagined that I would reach a crossroads in life where the natural path to take was one leading towards Christianity. It goes against everything I've ever been taught growing up in this day and age. The absurdity of the realisation itself is both so painful and revolutionary it's difficult to completely grasp. If ever I thought there was something profound about Jesus, I don't think it holds up to whatever it is that I am experiencing now. Because this shouldn't have been possible.
