Unfortunately for them, I've pointed that is what they are doing repeatedly. On KS13 FHK, he's most certainly broken the law. That's 6 points and £200. However at least he has an MOT. I suggest he is reported.

As soon as any PC sees this, then under their code of ethics (do they have ethics), section 10, they have to report it. If they don't then you can make a complaint about that. Since those reg plates on private cars have now been on KZbin for all to see I wonder how many people will be able to identify the owners and their addresses once they have left these police premises. I reckon that no member of the public, whether or not they have malicious intent, would be able to get that information without having to drop a tenner to some bent copper for a database search or a similar thing with DVLA staff. Overt surveillance never succeeds but plod doesn't seem to understand this.

Just a thought. On most of these audit sites the police come up with "security risk". One of you auditors need to ask the following question. Who is most at risk from a terror attack, a pathetic little police station or a military establishment? Then ask them if they are so worried about you filming their bolt hole, question why Farnborough air base invite the public in every 2 years to photo and video the latest technology available.
