I did an experiment and went in full Havel and he killed me in one shot with his explosive attack thing. Fuck the firesage.

A secret to defeating any boss that doesn't use magic, take off all armor you don't need it if you die with one hit ,a shield is good if your stamina isn't depleted within the one hit ,its much easier this whay, the bosses are made to be harder if you use armor because most people use armor trying to take the hits

We're up to video 8... is it my imagination or have I never seen him backstab an enemy even once so far. When did he kill Sif? I must have missed him doing that. His "friend" actually told him the truth... three times in this video. When he was going to die from the fall and when he wasn't going to die from the fall and where the bonfire was in the Demon Ruins. That was nice of him. It is difficult to find the DLC area without help... there is no rhyme or reason connecting the dots to find it at all. Also to get back to the original Asylum area (and therefore also to also get into the Painting area). Perhaps I might have found The Great Hollow and Ash Lake without any help. But I very much doubt I would have ever worked out how to get to those other areas (or even that they existed in the first place) without someone telling me about them. Even though I got pretty good at the game and am pretty thorough with exploring. Hahaha... putting on armour IS NOT cheating. Yes, lava IS hot, VERY hot in fact. But it is still not "made of fire".

What a damn tanky build. My second playtrough was brutal! Playing dex and miracle so i got no armor and not using a shield. Got to 4 kings and just got 1 shot :p and my health is nowhere close to asmons 🤭

I've invested 600 hours in DS with a keyboard. It's the same amunt of buttons. When I'm out of combat I use the mouse to move my camera, when I'm in battle I use the lock-on. Is not rocket science.

Ive never played a souls game with a gamepad, i dont even own a gamepad. You just turn the mouse sensitivity in game down to zero and get a mouse that can adjust mouse sensitivity as well and put that as low as it can go. Then its really no different i suspect. It wasn't hard to get use to at all, took some time to figure out how to do some stuff but i got there in the end, google helped.

Why is it cheating to have a set of armor? I used plenty of different armor sets for different bosses, sometimes to max poise, sometimes for fire or lightning resist, sometimes just to get as much phys def but keep under 25%. The fact that he only seems to use one armor set and only 2h his wep and only heavy attacks seems like a massive handicap rather than a cheat...

Bro, Black Knight Halberd. Way too good of a moveset for the damage it does. I have the Obsidian Greatsword+5 which you get by cutting Kalameet's tail off, and then upgrading it. It has 480 base damage. I still use my +5 BKH

Kinda late but it's the grass crest shield. People use it for its stamina-regen boost, not for blocking since it weights just as much as some other medium shield yet only blocks 95% physical damage.
