Learned years ago to use mini attachments for a vacuum cleaner to keep sewing machines clean...was always told the compressed air blows the lint & dust further into the machine. The same issue when cleaning printers as well as computer. Just figured Cricut would be the same way.
@Indytom234 жыл бұрын
I agree with that. I was told to never use canned air on my sewing machine or other electronic devices because all it does is blow the lint and fine dust particles deep into your machine. I would never use canned air on my cricut. I also have the mini attachment for my vacuum cleaner hose. It sucks out the tiny particles instead of pushing them into the machine.

When using canned air, I recommend having someone hold the machine upside down when you spray the canned air so that any dirt or lint is sprayed out of the machine. When you’re spraying it down, it’s just forcing all the dirt and lint back into the machine.

@MakersGonnaLearn3 жыл бұрын
Those grey rubber pieces should not effect your material as they should only be on the edges of your mat. If you're talking about the white stars on the roller, you can scoot those over so they wont effect your material.

On my machine, the rubber rollers that pull the mat into the Cricut are very grungy looking. It almost looks like some of the adhesive from the mat itself. It's stuck to the rollers, so it's not something that a brush would remove. Is there a way to safely clean them?
