Your body sheds oils and skin cells whether you sweat heavily or not. Cold will not stop this. Wear underclothes to absorb the oils and wash those instead.

u should always hand wash and air dry, and always turn your clothes inside out when washing/drying. also squeeze the water out gently so u don’t stretch the clothes. neutral soaps are the best to wash too

Your body always releases skin cells and fats/oils which will be absorbed by the layer of clothing against the skin. Wear underclothes to protect the clothes you care about. Wash the underclothes and leave the fashionable clothes alone. This is what underwear and tshirts/tanks are for.

I wash my clothing only when needed, so pretty rarely. That being said, if I pay big bucks for my clothing and it cant handle a warm wash, I am not bying from them again. I spend money to get clothes I like, that are of good quality and actually last. Clothes get used a lot and they should handle that. Never ever using a dryer though

If it's just the pits that need cleaning you could lay the shirt on a clean towel and use a sponge with warm water and just press the wet sponge into the pits a few times. Just saves washing the shirt if it doesn't absolutely need it.

I suck at washing my clothes. I live in an apartment with coin-operated laundry so it's just cheaper and easier. Shirts NEED to be washed. I own TONS of shirts cause my meds cause hyperhidrosis. I only need to wash pants weekly or bi-weekly. My casual viscose and canvas kilts only every once in a while. The kilts have airflow and rarely get smelly. I'm a lassy so I don't go commando. Shorts underneath and just spot clean the kilts. I'm watching mens fashion channels cause I like mens clothing and it fits better. Cargo pants, kilts, military inspiration. Wear mens extra small pants and shirts cause they fit me better. My shoulders rip out of womens shirts and women's pants never fit. I got wide shoulders no matter how skinny I get. Tiny waist but straighter hips. Flat block butt. Solid, athletic calves perfect for kilts. Military inspo cause green just looks drip on redheads. It's great finding what works for me and feels good. I found a green British Army jacket on Etsy that has become my personal iconic peice and I like what I see and get nothing but compliments. My recent fashion choices were first internally embraced from within myself and than externally from others...it feels amazing when you got the best of both of those worlds. I'm not gonna lie external compliments feel great. Esspecially when you internally love the clothes yourself. Getting over the wearing ALL black ALL the time. Nothing wrong with that, but for me it was just getting old. I was also not too fashion conscious when doing so. Moving into more earth-tones and neutral tones. These channels and videos are great at helping me move on to different colors and styles.

If it's made with quality fabrics then ypu can normally wash it. My clothes aren't expensive, but I choose wisely before buying .I'm washing my clothes after each wearing even if they don't smell. Washing them with the proper program, detergent, temperature. Some of them need gentle ironing. When they end up being donated, they look great.

@sophiroth7
@sophiroth7 Жыл бұрын
I think his advice on drying isn't very helpful tbh. Do NOT wring your clothes, especially cotton/wool/anything that stretches. Gently squeeze out as much as you can without wringing it, then lay out a towel, lie the clothes on top, and roll it up like a really tight sushi roll. Squeeze the towel tightly so it absorbs as much water as possible, then LAY the clothes FLAT to dry (on a rack etc). Don't leave it to dry on top of the towel because they'll both not dry properly. If you get that much water out of it beforehand it shouldn't stink when it dries.

That's why you should shower often (everyday) with a little towel and soap. And exfoliate your skin once or twice a week, keep your clothes in a dry place.
@KDP2009
@KDP2009 Жыл бұрын
@@Sweet4chokoreeto showering once a day is a bit excessive though if you don't really need to. It's really wasteful of water too. You just need to find a balance of washing clothes every so often when they actually need it but not leaving them when they stink. It does help to have clothes stored in a more open space rather than crammed into a drawer tho.
@KDP2009

Also showering everyday strips the oils from your skin and can leave it really dry and even more ashy
@Sweet4chokoreeto
@Sweet4chokoreeto Жыл бұрын
@@KDP2009 by showering I mean warm up your body a couple minutes with water, stop the water and wash yourself with a bucket of warm water, a jar, a cloth and body wash. Another bucket for washing your hair. I'm Chilean so we shower a lot. We know that there's enough water for a 4 minute shower, scarcity of water is mainly produced by industrial use of water that contaminate the water. This is an opinion. You do what your body needs.
