6:10 fun fact, the pistol glove was invented for soldiers in World War Two, though very few were ever made. The idea was that in a last ditch scenario, a soldier could put it on and pretend to surrender. Because the pistol was on the back of the hand, the enemy wouldn’t see it so you could wait for them to get close and then just punch them in the head. Contrary to popular belief, it not is actually fully automatic but rather an end of war semi automatic rifle, with all of its parts screwed in. It was designed for ease of manufacture to arm the Volksturm or People’s Storm militia to bolster the defense of the home front. It had a couple of issues due to its rushed production.
