I am 70 years old. All I can tell you is that if this girl's story is at all accurate, it is probably what her mom told her as opposed to what actually happened. She states her parents met "in a bar" and he asked her do dance. This immediately suggests some sort of old black and white movie in a 1940's supper club. But that isn't her mom's generation. Her mom and dad most likely met at a disco if he asked her to dance. Discos were the original "hook-up" scene. That era was similar to now only without cell phones or social media. @@godspeedredeicieli4384can’t agree more..I did this mistake because for the 1st time in my life I fell really hard for a woman and got wrecked at the end nevertheless… The irony is she liked me at first because I was indifferent to her. Reality is truly fucked up sometimes. Don’t think women can really appreciate true love from a man even if it hits them in the face with a hammer. I’d say he should experience it himself, but rather than be naive be aware it mostly will not work and she will pull back and leave. Then we need to learn and move on. I knew these things before my heartbreak and I still did them… some things need to be experienced and felt to really make an impact. Maybe I was stupid but .. at least I know what I felt was real because she had so many red flags and yet It made no difference. But I wont let this happen again. Never again.
