I unsubscribed to your channel because I was super deep into red pill and self improvement. Seeing all these videos all the time on my feed made me feel that I'm overcomplicating my life and also that I don't have what it takes to live a happy life myself and hence I have to constantly watch red pill and self improvement to get to a decent level as a human. I still keep coming back once every 1 or 2 weeks to see if there's some video relating to my problem rather than consooming general content.

Overthinking ends when thoughts end, when thoughts end feelings end, when feelings end, emotions end, it’s a domino effect and the thoughts don’t just go away. What happens is: you disbelieve them you simply don’t trust what they’re saying. You may not forcefully push your thoughts away as they’ll struck you even harder, you should look at them, see what they’re saying and ask yourself: “how do I know this thought is real based on FACTS not thoughts” per say: “I am not worthy of love” being a thought, ask yourself why and based up on facts you should come to the conclusion you are human as saying “oh I am not lovable because this happened in the past” is root from a thought of the past, not a fact, maybe you had no other choice or maybe you didn’t see it, always stay factual when disbelieving thoughts. Hope this kind of makes sense and helps anyone who needs it.

Eye contact with people feels super deep and it makes you more aware of the physical world because it basically shuts off reverberations of thought that are lingering, and therefore your mind has more processing space to pick up on more details in the present. Same. Toxic jobs, toxic relationships and worries about the futures cause a lot of overthinking. What helped me a lot is getting the "orange chakra" and dumb myself down a bit by leaving my head energy a lot, stop reading the news, stop caring about anything and everyone, stop reading serious books, and only focus on me anymore. Life got very peaceful. I got a lot of my mental health back, found a good partner and am on my way to finally finding a job I can hold.

Don't overthink on what has happened in the past instead make peace with it no amount of mental energy will change what has really happened. Be the best version where you at right now. Acceptance is the key to our situation and life is like a rollercoaster up and down we all witness. You don't have to figure everything out at this moment give yourself some time. Overthinking is a global problem not just a problem that only rare ppl face. The past is done and will be unchanged and the future hasn't arrived yet so be in the present moment.

I am watching this video as I am having trouble letting go of many mistakes I made as a child until before entering high school. While watching the video, I kept thinking, "Okay, what do I need to do?". The story kept playing and I expected some advice but instead, I kept my focus on the story. Toward the end of the story, my eyes filled with tears. It is very hard at least for me to not overthink, as I am trying my best to forgive myself. I can't change the past, I can't let the person I am now try and find a solution that does not need solving. I embrace my past, I must learn to heal my inner child, and parent, and guide my child self to be better for me. To anyone reading this, you are not alone. Forgive and forget. It is time to move forward, don't carry the weight of your mistakes, those mistakes have nothing to do with your present self.

I don't know if I'm naturally gifted, or if I just had a good upbringing, but I sometimes feel like I 'appreciate existence' more than my peers I guess. Like what this video described: I often just sit down and appreciate little things around me. The sound of chirping birds, the smell of fresh rain, the way sunlight hits different things during the late afternoon.. I have anxiety problems, don't get me wrong. I'm really anxious about filling out papers and stuff, but deep down I know I am overthinking things, and I often just take time to rest and appreciate the world around me, and the fact I am alive to experience it. Our very assistance is a miracle. So many things had to go just right so we could be alive to experience our world, and I think that's beautiful. Every human life is beyond precious. We are all incredibly lucky to be here. Even if life is hard, and it seems like it won't get any better, you can always find happiness in the simplest things.

Salvador, To feel better reduce negative thoughts. Be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing yourself physically or mentally with others, reduce watching negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly [psychosomatic problems]. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. For a relaxed mind observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 10-15-20 minutes or more. You can sit or lie down, anywhere-anytime, neck straight and eyes closed. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. No deep breathing. Don’t fight your thoughts. With practice the mind will relax. Keep a reminder to observe your breath sensations throughout the day and night --before sleep, when reading, at work, at home, when travelling etc with eyes open or closed. Like me make this a lifetime habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

Overthinking certainly applies to me! I have been overthinking everything. I am too the point that I am not doing things I should be doing, because I just think about those things (and analyze) instead of doing them. For the longest time I've been looking at famous quotes, watching videos and reading self-help books, and it turns out that what those things have done is take the place of action, causing in me inaction. And that is why my life is currently at a standstill. And I suspect this is the case for many others as well. We need to remind ourselves to stop thinking and start acting.

I like your videos man, it really help me boost my self-worth. Lately, my life hasn't been so great due to depression, overthinking and overwhelming feelings. Now I realised that thinking too much can drain your energy and mental health. I'm tired to stay like that and I want to change my life. I'm obsessed by looking for self-improvement and trying to complicate my life by looking out for many small details as I can. In the end its not worth anything. It truly makes my life suffering. These videos can br helpful sometimes but watching too much of it won't help you if you don't practice it. It only creates anxiety and depression.

I suffer a lot from overthinking, everything that I can't control but is very important to me causes a lot of anxiety and panic in me. Mostly it is the fear of failure or the fear of rejection, the fear of possibly confronting people with unpleasant things. It makes me feel so weak and powerless and I hate giving meaningless people and situations so much power over my feelings as if my life depends on it. I wish every person reading this to be free from fear, panic, depression und axienty and find peace in their heart. We create fake scenarios in our heads about things that have no meaning and do not correspond to reality. We always fear the worst and put ourselves in this state, even though we realize afterwards that there was no reason to worry. Even though our brains are mean and want us to believe that it will be bad, I want to tell you that everything will be okay and that you will make it.

I'm sorry that this is the reality that you have to face 😢 And I would know, because I struggle with that and I'm diagnosed with ADHD which leads me to one big symptom of ADHD (Which I don't know if you know but still): I think its due to an overactive default network mode in the brain, which doesn't switch off when the brain goes to task positive mode. And what do you get, an endless river of thoughts that never stop even when you desperately want them to. Not to mention maladaptive daydreaming, which is a whole other can of worms but it still related to this. Or even if you don't have ADHD, maybe anxiety either way I wish to give you a light in the darkness.

Cole, it's been interesting watching the media you create, I do not know the journey that brought you here but I feel that your expression toward philosophy of self and comprehension toward the world does well in capturing similar regards within my own experience, my own understandings that shape who I am and how I live, with intentionality. I appreciate how you have developed an outlet into expressing the profundity of your thoughts into the shared space of our existence, a journey I tread my own road on in kind. It is welcome to see similar minds and perspectives toward the world emerging from the increasingly complex cauldron of bubbling primordial soup that composes much of our mortal modernity, it grants me hope for the world that there are those of us who tread that path, within and out.
