Ok the one things people don’t realize is you have to go above and beyond with Shipt. I have a custom greeting and goodbye asking them to rate my service and I always do very well. Also YOU CAN RECEIVE TIPS AFTER YOU DELIVER!! I RECEIVE TIPS UP TO 24 HOURS AFTER DELIVERY!!!! I woke up to a $35 tip two days ago!!! My tips pay more than the actual shop majority of the time but you have to provide excellent customer service!!!

Facts and I think the lack of seeing tips upfront makes Shipt the best gig app. The other apps are just a free for all and how quick you can claim an order. With Shipt if you label your non tippers on google maps and build more preffereds the more you'll guarantee good earnings and have a leg up over other shoppers. Keeping a perfect rating is key though which comes to going above and beyond like you said. If someone isn't a good shopper they will definitely not make it with Shipt but vice versa and you'll get far. Communication is key on Shipt! If someone doesn't respond by end of shop for a sub you give them a call and if no answer you never sub on your own unless there's a very clear choice. Even with that I'll text them that if unhappy with my choice they can contact Shipt for a refund. This stuff is key to avoiding a customer being unsatisfied.

In the beginning, shipt threw all kinds of generous orders my way. Even gave me a HUGE earning adjustment of $400+ (only one time). But it gets me out there and there's usually a chance to do multiple shipts in an hour plus multi app. Just gotta get the offers!

Shipt customers usually tip the best. IMO just don't expect a tip and you won't be disappointed.

Bruh… don’t expect to get to eat and you won’t be disappointed with tap water for dinner. Stay away from target. Those customers see free shipping and assume it means no need to tip. 35 items $627 deliver 9-10pm. Zero tip. The only good tip I’ve gotten was from some dude in a crappy hotel that said he had just got let out of prison.

@@slingnmom Its a good thing that spark makes people on the wait list! I was on the wait list and after 6 months I procrastinated because I was still rockin on DD and UE at the time, the pay was werid because it revolved around a digital wallet. Spark is oversaturated but not as bad as DD and UE. I will say this, since spark its my main income. Though all the apps need to oversaturate to make sure all customers are served. In the end I got on spark and thought it was crap, still running catering apps and DD and UE and GH etc... Once I said to myself lets give spark a 9hr day and I rocked it and it was hard to figure out and once I did I was like DAM!!! This spark stuff rocks, now I understand why there is 10 people at walmarts standing together rejecting orders, I understand now and now I get it....

It really all depends on your area and I'm not too sure how Spark works but I'm 3 years in on Shipt and I make more than a high paying office job. Shipt is a time game and gets better as you go which is what differentiates it from the other gig apps. You have to actually build up a preffered customer base for priority and label non tipping customers addresses to avoid them in the future. After time this guarantees you higher earnings and an advantage over other apps which are just a free for all and quick to claim game. But forget about all of that if you're not a good communicater and shopper.

@@NoreagaMan Yeah, just yesterday I was on a target shop n pay for doordash and I met this chic that was on a shop n pay for shipt and she said she averaged 30 an hr.... So we talked and I explained I have the shipt app but Im only on delivers vs her being on shop n pays, yet she has the choice to do shops and do delivers yet I only have the option to do just delivers... So shipt is great for shopping but sucks for delivers if u are far from there sortation centers. Correct me if Im wrong because I spoke to support multiple times.

Shipt pays very well in Minnesota. I made $918 in 3 and half days with total 11 hours a day. Since it’s owned by target and Target is a Minnesota company so there’s targets littered all across MN. You can easily make 2k plus a week working 11-12 hours but that’s if you are up to the task.

I think what takes time is when they are out of an item and you have to reach out to the customer to see if they want a sub. It's especially time consuming when a store is out of multiple items. .

I hate that, i mean i dont care for hyvee orders at night due to that, in the morning its ok because all the shelves are freshly stocked, at night it can be slim pickings especially on a decent sized order,,,,, so much texting back n forth to where u wonder if the order was even nearly worth it!!!!

@@danguts2844 honestly the only reason it is for me is the tip factor. Not everyone does it but I've experienced enough generosity from customers that I'll claim the order.

As long as you have a system this will be easier to deal with. Whenever somethings out and there's a clear sub choice I'll keep it in my cart and keep going if they don't respond right away. Most the time they will end up wanting that so I don't have to go back and send other options. I always call at end of shop if they don't text back and if no answer I'll never sub on my own unless there's a very obvious choice. Even with that I'll still message them what I did and say that if unhappy with my choice they can contact Shipt for a refund, which is easy to get. This method never fails me and I never stress out-of-stocks because of it. I maintain perfect ratings 99% of the time so trust me on that.

It seems like it’s mostly old people in NWFL. They tip but it’s not enough to make it worth the time involved plus I usually have at least a 10 minute drive just to get there.

I have been doing shipt for 4 years to supplement income. In my metro in Florida the pay is 7 -10 bucks per single order or 15 for a bundle. Meanwhile, in my metro in Kentucky for a single order it was 20+ per order and the tips were VERY generous in a rural area.

The only thing that's a downer is the app does not say what isle and what section the item is in that isle. With Walmart spark the app will point the isle number, and the section to make shopping a lot easier so you don't feel like you are on a wild goose chase.

There are Meijer stores in my state and they tell you exact location of all items, aisle, shelf, and place. I think it comes down to how organized each company is

I think it has to do with if the store submits their aisle locations because I’ve shopped at 6 different Meijers around me and 4 of the six have exact locations of the items.

Ok so when you see like $6.50 remember that is without tip and if it’s promo it’s an extra $10 + and you get an extra 30 minutes! When you do 2 to 3 shops at a time then you are getting a bump iup due to being efficient! They also give you a daily bonus most of the time! I make on average $34 an hour on Shipt! I love shipt!!!

@@Ellekan Because it isn't an extra $10. It's an increase in the base pay. If there is a bonus say shop at store in zone XYZ for $10 bonus, it usually will not apply to promo orders.

I just signed up for Shipt shopper. I like shopping for Target and Hy-Vee better than Walmart. My very first order I received I got a $45 tip. That was Saturday. I did 2 yesterday. Small ones! On one order I got a $10 tip and the other one I haven’t received a tip yet.

Shipt offers here are between $6-8 and I have not had a good experience with the majority of customers tipping like most people say. Still trying to give it an honest go, but wonder how people are making $1k/week on this platform.

Most people who are making that much on the platform are in a really good area or have been doing this so long that they have a substantial tip map to rule out bad orders. No one just getting started outside of the honeymoon phase is getting that much.

Shipt pays by the hour. In my area, they pay $16 an hour based on estimated time (its pretty accurate btw). It must be nice because in his area its apparently $26 😢

Target prepaid's are a godsend. No waiting in line. The associate manning the self-checkout area can scan your prepaid barcode and you're outta there.

So, I made a phone call to Home Depot so we can find a resolution on why sometimes they put items as a pencil when it is a huge item. And sometimes going long distances, across state lines.. for pennies on the dollar. is it height, length and width or length width and height... Some items have to remain upright like refrigerators, freezers, ac units. Air conditioners.. lawnmowers, etc. Be mindful, some items can have chemicals or items that can destroy the integrity of most vehicles.

Join the club. I've been on their list for 8 months. I was on Spark's waitlist for 3 months, but fortunately I got picked up by them and I've been on Instacart's waitlist for now 4 months. Just do other apps while you wait. I do Door Dash, Uber Eats, and Spark. Ging to add Grubhub soon, but I live in a small town so I don't think there's going to be a huge influx of orders from them.

Hi mike good video. Have a question i live in a small Texas town about 4200 not much here i live about 50 miles from one city and 50 miles from another city. I do have a full time job working 4 days week off Friday Saturday Sunday most holidays off would it be worth it to drive there and do gig app asking for a friend lol any feedback would be greatly appreciated p.s no gigs wear i live will work

Adding 100 miles to any shift is gonna ruin your profit. A car getting 20mpg is going to cost you $16 per shift right off the top. Also consider if you do that just twice a week you are putting 800 miles + the delivery miles on your vehicle every month.
