Wow, this video was such an eye-opener! I’ve been on a spiritual journey for years, but I never realized how much I might be avoiding the deeper emotional work. The way you explained spiritual bypass and triggers made so much sense-it’s like you put into words something I’ve felt but couldn’t explain. I also love how this channel approaches these topics with such compassion and clarity. It feels like a safe space to reflect and learn. Thank you for sharing such powerful insights and for encouraging us to dig deeper into our own healing. Can’t wait to see more content like this! 🙏 Keep doing what you’re doing-this is life-changing work

Until I discovered Dr Gabor Mate and his work, I always believed I was a ‘no good’ ‘broken’ human being From very early childhood I believed I was less than orhers around me. I’ve lived my entire life being addicted to substances/ behaviours, with periods without addiction whilst on max dose SSRI’s Until now (aged 64) I never knew why. Thank you for the enlightenment…. It all makes sense to me now 🙏

I've found out many people who have been neglected during childhood have a love for archaeology. I did and still do and I have met others, even children who are drawn to find old hidden treasures. I love the analogy; be the archeologist of your mind ❤

Have you ever felt like you’re doing everything right-meditation, mindfulness, spiritual practices-but deep down, something still feels unresolved? This video really resonated with me. It’s about the hidden ways we sometimes bypass our emotions without even realizing it, thinking we’re healing but still carrying so much inside. I never thought about triggers this way before-like they’re not just annoyances but actually clues to something deeper within us. It’s eye-opening and honestly a little emotional to reflect on. How often do we blame others or life circumstances without realizing the “ammunition” we carry? This is such an important conversation, and I’m curious-have you ever had moments where all the spiritual work didn’t seem to fix certain struggles? Let’s share and connect in the comments. I think we all can learn from each other’s journeys. 🙏 #spiritualgrowth, #emotionalhealing, #selfawareness, #compassionateinquiry, #spiritualbypass, #personalgrowth, #innerpeace, #emotionalwellness, #selfdiscovery, #healingjourney, #triggersandemotions, #innertransformation

I don't like being triggered but I know that triggers are the path to know your past even if you don't remember it. Jung was one of the first ones to talk about them and the shadow but it took me time, and my psychologist failed to tell me, to understand that you can find treasures in your shadow and not only dark traits.

That ammunition definitely comes through childhood and other traumas. Thank you so much. Such an appropriate message at this time of the year. Being an introvert; dealing with a high volume of people at this time of the year is wild - parties and catch ups etc. Have already done the Christmas dinner thing with family. Nearly all of them have triggered me. Even something so simple, when an elderly family member in a nursing home asked me recently: "Are you working today?"and "Are you on your lunch break?" knowing full and well that I live 30kms away from him, and that I just want to visit him before Christmas, and he knows that I work for myself. As I work for myself, then why the hell would I be working on a Sunday?? People are so triggering...definitely at this time of the year. No wonder why I was diagnosed with mild depression last week. This is helpful. Merry Christmas/Seasons Greetings.

Thank you so much for watching this video and sharing your thoughts so openly. It means a lot that this message resonated with you during such a challenging time. The holidays can be overwhelming, especially when dealing with triggers and the expectations of others. I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’ve been facing, but I hope you can find moments of peace and self-care amidst it all. Please remember to be kind to yourself-you’re doing your best, and that’s enough. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and sending you strength and warmth.

Hi. Self-compassion is one ingredient for getting better. Can I recommend something..... learn to name the passive-aggressive and/or covert behavior.... BUT in this case the old person in a nursing home may actually be a little out of it. + Important ingredient: name your emotions, all of them, journal.... Anger? You cannot process an emotion you have that you cannot name (generally). Oh, and EMDR is a good assistant for processing difficult to process feelings, triggered emotions....... My experience.... Many many people are dysfunctional, need to judge others, etc....

Strangely enough it deepens understanding within the emotional mental spiritual levels of our seemingly existence. For those who are interested in such introspective growth. And it can be very useful even though we are not our thoughts and we are not our feelings but we experience sensations that can slow us down or speed up some inner ripening, like some old high quality wine. Character Building. Soul Building. Expanding awareness on its levels of choice.

But on the other hand it is to be recommended to allow feelings and then learn to deal with it lovingly which may prevent many diseases to arise in the body. In a safe way if possible or not but it will define your mindset and how well you can adapt to the human part in yourself while we are Spiritual Beings having a Human experience. Humans have certain charms which makes it human. But we face a few global behavioural patterns of thought and rigid outdated points of view. Denial will often have side effects. Plato zei: In de juiste mate. Maar we hebben soms verschillende paden binnen de Droom

Thank you so much for watching this video and for sharing your thoughtful perspective. I completely agree with the importance of allowing feelings and learning to deal with them lovingly-it’s such a profound way to nurture both our body and soul. I also appreciate the reminder that we are Spiritual Beings having a Human experience; it’s a beautiful way to look at our journey. The idea of embracing humanity’s unique charms while navigating outdated patterns and denial is so insightful. As Plato said, balance is key. Thank you again for sharing this wisdom-it adds so much depth to the conversation!

I really hate these stupid acted filmscripts covering up the image of the person speaking. Just show the guy. Or leave the video just black. This is just distracting and useless.
