True, a deeply kind, bighearted blessing. Hashem has made a hash out of so many other things tho, leaving us to do mental gymnastics to rationalise neglect, instead of being authentic. Maybe G-d will learn kindness via Gabor and the rest of us eventually🌌🌦️🌱

If Culture were my parents, I would "do as the 'Romans' do", adapt, and receive protection, but I would lose my true 'self'. Welcome to my life since I awoke to this concept in 1987, aged 22. ❤

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It’s always enlightening to hear how others relate to the complexities of culture and identity. It's interesting how culture shapes our identities! Adapting can sometimes feel like losing a part of ourselves, but it can also lead to growth and new perspectives.
