As someone who went to public school, got a job at 17, took the bus for 9 months until I could afford a shitty Honda, had to pay for my own driver's ed because my parents couldn't to get my license, then attended community college for 2 years, paid for all out of pocket from my waitressing job, then transferred to university, continued working and paying for the tuition that my loans didn't cover to get my bachelors in a family where no one else had a degree, I wish I had a foot in the door too. A foot in the door for me would have been something as simple as knowing how college classes and degree plans were even structured before I went. The scaling of privilege is crazy. I know that I don't know what life is like or what the experience is like for Bert and Tom's kids, but fuck dude. They should be grateful that they don't have to struggle to make it. College was a wild dream for me that I had no clue how to achieve. I just charged head first into the world, ate a lot of humble pie, asked a lot of questions and took any help and advice I could get. Those kiddos have no clue how lucky they are.

The crazy thing is, Andrew Tate is probably just that type of person. Character or not, young dudes are treating his "character" as a role model and joining his echo chamber.
@nb-wp2qz2 жыл бұрын
His ideas and the people who follow him are a product of the world making it a bad thing to be masculine. Keep pushing people farther and farther from reality and acting surprised when they latch on to their own version on the opposite end.

Well don't make it harder to find because that will make it more desirable like what happened with drugs. Why don't people understand that? Publicly shame the person but don't get rid of them or else it will seem like you're trying to hide the truth.
@chicagonorthsider2 жыл бұрын
I don't fckin get why they think this dude is some Academy Award winning actor or something playing a "character"...like in real life he's some other thing. He's no Sacha Baron Cohen. He's an intelligent narcissist that got a platform. He's just regurgitating the same masangonistic BS with a British accent and a dislike for American living. It takes some narcissism to become the best of the best athlete and dominate, but he's more of a grandiose narcissist and a sociopath also.
