Yeah the situation isn't about Markiplier specifically at all. It's about YT using him and other popular channels as like some sort of "reference sheet to a good channel" to judge everyone else to the harshest degrees. From being around when KZbin was in its infancy, I know KZbin didn't really bank on being the source of many people's income, but their refusal to grow has been ultimately what has been hurting them for years. They claim they're doing all of this work to protect creators but we've seen so much evidence that it just isn't happening. I'm glad that we have creators sticking their necks out and possibly jeopardizing their relationship with KZbin for the sake of making the platform better. Maybe NOW they'll listen. I'm pessimistically hopeful for now.

Feel sorry for Corykenshin, he’s the most child friendly channel there is and he gets dealt a bad hand.
