@@XC11301991 Like I said it DEFINITELY reminds me of the 2000s back when happy tree friends was the JUGGERNAUT of internet animation! It was on hot topic even on TV (from the channel G4) Watching the old sprite and MTN dew commercials feels sweet! Do you remember that sprite mascot with the action figure “thirst?” And as much as I LOVE vivziepop’s shows I will admit it DEFINITELY has problems one of them being it feels rushed as HELL (pun intended!) Now history is repeating itself with hazbin hotel and TADC are in hot topic now!

An old classic that I always remember is the late Monty Oum, the creator of RWBY. But before he did that he made fan-animated videos of his favorite fighters in an anime style. Like "Haloid" which puts Samus from Metroid and a Spartan from Halo in a battle against then with each other.

Monkey Wrench has been underrated since it has a lot of high quality animation, VA and story bits but still has trouble getting funding despite having some high profile and highly talented animators workong on it its basically a buddy comedy about two aliens trying to get ends meet.

I am reminded this week with what's happening over in South Korea. I remember when Logan Paul went to Japan and filmed a man who just committed suicide in a well known forest for suicide. That action did spark an anime show to have an episode where a youtuber went to Japan and desecrated a sacred shine. Which released an evil spirit that killed him and anyone who took videos of him.

Someone who's controversial for some odd reason and has an extremely dedicated base of haters is YoungRippa59. He's been on here forever and also been in the Metalcore scene of music, but he started his own comic company after critiquing DC and Marvel forever since he wanted to not just be another person complaining. Rippaverse Comics launched in late 2022 and now he has industry vets working alongside him on other books while he writes the first hero's book, Isom.

With Mr. Beast is one of those people that used his philanthropy and good deeds where just there to hide that he's a corporate sellout and greedy. Curing blindness and putting up water ways is good, but then when that's used to sell his Mr. Beat meals, chocolates and of course, Lunchlies that are worse then what they are the alternative of. Stuff like Smiling Friends was passion first and foremost, while they could sell merch later on. Unlike Rick & Morty that jumped the second they could using self-awareness as a shield while peddling a terrible mobile game and cheap plastic.

Same with his Beast Chocolates. They *used* to be the healthier alternative, but due to poor sales, his team redesigned the recipe & upped the sugat values, now making it just as if not more unhealthy than a Hershey's Bar.

I always hated the term "cashgrab" when used for Critiques because I don't see it as a negative nor positive term, just a fact that anything or everything can have an appeal for someone to buy. That aside, I know what you mean at least. Lunchly & previous KZbinr Films (like FRED & Prom Night) are Illusions, products that are purely Manufactured without genuine care. YoungRippa59's RIPPAVERSE, GLITCH's Digital Circus, Iconic Comics's Kamen America, and MoistCritical's GODSLAP Series are definitely products that are not purely manufactured nor an illusion, they're definitely made with Passion when it comes to taking time-n-effort for people to legitimately enjoy. Happy to hear Danphan is making great progress putting out her own stuff. I hope to become an Indie Creator myself, oh boy, I have LOTS of ideas so I too am excited for the Indie Creative Space that is definitely rising right now.

To add to cool projects on KZbin, as a Total Drama fan, it's been cool seeing channels on here create their own animated reality shows. One of the biggest is Disventure Camp by Odd Nation Cartoons. I've been watching them ever since the beta version of Season 1, and it's been cool seeing them improve each season in terms of animation and voice acting quality. Season 4 is not too far away, and the cast looks good so far. I know All-Stars had its disappointing moments, but I'm still going to be watching the new season with an open mind. Let me know any other fanmade Total Drama-esque shows that are cool.

He has his own webcomic called William the First and he also has his own crowdfunded comic called Gunship ThunderPunch. It's quite funny and apt to compare Lunchly to Smiling Friends, because both psychic pebbles and Jimmy & Ava where fans and supporters of Shadman. Pebbles literally lived with shadman and mocked the university that kicked Shadman out for his p**n he draws. This was on Pebble's podcast The Sleepycast. @mjtannertwins I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the crew would come back as well. That would've made that scene even better. I do wonder what would be the explanation for how they'd appear if that did happen. Despite that, 600 Strike was still epic (pun not intended), and I also thought it was very satisfying seeing Odysseus get Poseidon back. Dangerous is my favorite too. It's so fun and danceable, and Troy Doherty really is perfect as Hermes. Also, I hope the final bit means there will be a reunion with Athena and Ody.

You bring up Hazbin Hotel having “sex jokes” but can’t (for some reason) mention its own accomplishments. It’s a little annoying, because the show has so much to offer other than pointing out its adult humor that you find unappealing. Which is FINE, I just wish you’d highlight what the creator herself was able to do when Hazbin was only just a KZbin pilot that in a short time, became successful and in a year/a few months. Actually got funded by A24 to become a full show. The humor shouldn’t stop you from appreciating everything else in the show, unless the show just isn’t for you (which is fair)
