Metal Pop Fusion bands are already commonplace in the USA. They are often labeled as metalcore bands. Bands like Attack Attack!, I See Stars, and Issues. Though I will say that most American metalcore bands do not have guitar riffs and licks that are as reminiscent of Heavy Metal as the riffs and licks of Babymetal are.

Im a metalhead and i like this music but when that girl said "maybe they thought lets make metal awesome" anger arose, metal has always been awesome its one of the only genre that technical and shows the talent of great guitarist, drummers, bassist and singers, just because you dont like it dont say its not awesome.
