@7:37 I believe that's wrong. Diabolos needs to already be in the GY for its effect to activate. if you tribute Diabolos, its effect won't activate because it was not already there when you tributed.

i got three a while ago and built it around a little differently x3 diabolos x3 maju x3 lady lament x3 ahrima x3 duke shade x3 armageddon knight x2 dark grepher x3 grinning grave x3 epidemic virus x2 deck devastation virus x2 crush card virus x3 lair of darkness x3 foolish burial x3 terraforming x1 card destruction works great tbh. I wouLdn't be surprised if it made tier 1 in OCG or TCG The ability to tribute your opponents monsters is great. if your opponent brings out a beater on turn one, the better it is for you, they wasted they're resources most likely to get it, so comebacks are low possibility for getting rid of beaters on your side.

I think GGV is actually really good card in starting hand. It can be very useful. For example if you are going first. If you fully establish your board with darkest diabolos and GGV, activate GGV, tribute your darkest diabolos, activate effect of GGV and your opponent must discard whole hand and no card in hand he will have.

This is true - I tested that with 3 against D/D deck, 2 out of 3 chances, D/D had at least 0 or 1 card while it finished the improved Structure Deck off. Suggest for a better replacement (only from the Structure Deck itself)? You can find the list I post up above (or just Ctrl + F and search for my username to find it).

Victor Rosa you can tribute 1 monster your opponent controls per turn with Lair of Darkness. So you can tribute one of theirs and several on yours to crank his atk up.

can you explain why ccv is bad? Is this format not with decks that have a lot of monsters with 1500 atk+? Other than pendulum magician purple poison/black fang destruction effect I don't see much advantage gained by being able to destroy monsters from deck to gy. Trickstar, ABC, True Draco,etc. Deck dev would be better for paleo, but what else would I be missing?

Ccv prevents your opponent from taking damage Has to be a monster with 1000 or less attack. Only lillith has 1000 when normal summoned so it makes it bricky most of the time. And it gives your opponent the option of destroying 3 cards from their deck which a lot of decks can BENEFIT from. The card is deadly against a lot of decks but sometimes its not worth running since its situation compared to the other viruses which are easier to use darkest diabolos for. He can always come back easily.

I assume you figured it out by now in the 3 months but no comment so, kaiju is a monster type that tributes a opponent's monster to be ssummoned and has become a term used for cards with that effect. Duke originally can't kaiju but with lair you can fulfill its summoning cost by using your opponents monster as a tribute hence him using the term kaiju.

Lair of darkness is perfect for critias. Use Lilith to search the traps and get lair of darkness up ASAP. tribute off your opponent’s field with enemy controller and hold tight until you’re able to get fang of critias

Mama Moosa You're exactly right. With destruction dragon's recent release, all critias card have come way down in price, this is also very easy to splash into and fills in the gaps that this deck has when you run (imo) the most consistent version which requires 3x metaverse so you can get to lair of darkness from lillith, but also, you can pop it on you opponent's turn to disrupt (non-dark) type-specific plays or chain it with a relevant virus card for non-targeting removal. Tyrant wing helps you get the most out of infernal dragon and turns darkest diabolos into a mean beatstick, ring of destruction can help in a pinch, and setting eradicator epidemic virus to spell cards and then setting off a few dark spirit art - greed cards can gain you massive advantage.

Thats why true draco and pend magcians are so good because they can establish multiple things that interrupts you and they get the deck count low so they draw into their combi peices more

Ok so I don't know the reason why you had to tell me the story of your life and how you're an athletic guy, but just so you know, you can be both athletic and play games. Anyways, that's why I suggested ABCs, because I'm exactly like you, I really despise Magicians and MasterPeace.deck, they don't fit my playstyle. ABCs is another deck you could've built with 3 structures and like 10 other cards bought singularly, and it's (imo) very fun and straight forward, and it is semi competitive. I'm just saying, but good luck reaching turn 2 with Monarchs... (I have an amazing Monarchs list too, just waiting for Konami to give the deck some playability back).
