It's nice to hear that you had a nice time in Wales. I am sure you are joking, but the most of the food you can eat in Wales you can also eat in England.

@@strongbrew9116 I had lamb skewers, Lamb Cawl, Welsh cakes and Bara Brith in Wales! They were so delicious🫶 And of course I loved the fish and chips I had in London! If you know of any good food to eat in England, please let me know🥰🥰

@@あるみほいる-c7o Nice! In England, I would recommend a traditional Sunday Roast with Yorkshire Puddings, a Full English Breakfast, Sticky Toffee Pudding, or Rhubarb Crumble.
Nice video. Personally, I think Wales is very unlikely to ever vote for independence from the UK. This is mainly because there are basically no drawbacks for them to be in the union. I think the percentage of English people who want England to be independent from the UK is probably higher these days!

Fair few drawbacks actually, westminster can and has stopped Wales from implementing laws and bills in the past, the lack of self-determination itself already being a pretty large factor but also Wales effectively gets its natural resources taken by England for near free, including ores, water, energy and etc, in return England gives back a tiny amount of what they took and then have the audacity to claim "you should be grateful, we're subsidising you" Wales will probably be independent this century, but well after most strong unionists (who are mostly people of middle age or elderly) pass away

@@striderwhiston9897 The amount of money Wales receives in funding far exceeds any potential income from natural resources. And if current trends are not reversed, people of Welsh ancestry will be a minority of the population of Wales by the end of the century, as the size of immigrant communities are increasing rapidly, just as in England. That means the independence issue will just fade. I think it is more likely that Welsh culture, language and identity will disappear, which would be a terrible thing.

@@strongbrew9116 No, it really doesn't, Wales exports most of the energy it generates and the worth of the water they export to England for free alone is worth billions long-term, really the lie that Wales would have no economic basis to stand on is more so just unionist propaganda as there are countries which are smaller with less resources, less money etc which are doing better than wales while being entirely independent.

@@strongbrew9116 Not to mention last year England took £5 billion out of the Welsh budget, effectivly a third, for HS2 lines which never even crossed into Wales, a refund was never given for this, and I believe a lot of the lines the money was going to be used on were cancelled, pretty much a daylight robbery, and stuff like this will keep happening, Wales is a 2nd class citizen in the UK, England will always be 1st at the cost of Wales.

@@striderwhiston9897 I think the energy argument is invalid because the decision to construct and fund the power stations came from the British government. A domestic Welsh government would never have had the funds to build them. But to be honest, any argument about the economics and political imbalance etc. is all immaterial. You live in a alternative universe where Wales is oppressed by "the English" - as in the everyday ordinary folk living in England, when in reality, English people are treated as subhuman dirt by the British government (i.e. the elites). Welsh people aren't treated much better, but many of them will still be happy to punch down on English people. It all doesn't matter. By the 2040s, English people will be a minority in England, and a decade after the same thing will happen to Welsh people in Wales. Once the natives have been replaced, all of the arguments you care about won't exist any more. But I'm pretty sure you'll ignore that elephant and carry on ranting on about "Y Saeson".
Weird how there's dozens of countries who are smaller than Wales economically and geographically and they somehow function just fine, and weird how Ireland was extremely poor under England but is now one of the richest countries in the world per capita innit?
It's complex because firstly, it's difficult to determine what the word "イギリス" refers to. Does it mean "Britain", "The United Kingdom", or just "England" (as it originally meant)? "Britain" is the name of the island, so that will always exist. I personally think the "UK" could end one day, but it won't be because of Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. It will be because English people in England want to leave the union. At present, England is the only country in the union which does not have its own dedicated parliament. Many feel this is unfair.
