Ingredients:
Luchi
1 cup ap flour
1 tbsp ghee
¼ tsp salt
¼ cup water
Filling
½ cup mawa
¼ cup desiccated coconut
1 ½ tbsp sugar
½ tsp cardamom powder
1/8 tsp salt
2 tbsp milk
Syrup
4 cups milk
¼ cup sugar
¼ cup powdered milk
1 tsp ghee
1/3 cup nuts
¼ tsp cardamom powder
Instructions:
1. Mix ap flour with ghee, salt, and water
2. Tap oil on the dough and set aside to rise for 15 minutes
3. Prepare the filling by mixing mawa, desiccated coconut, sugar, cardamom powder, salt and milk
4. Create small circular sheets using the dough and place filling inside then roll it out to a 3 inch in diameter
5. Deep fry the luchi until light golden brown then set aside
6. Pour milk in a pot and reduce the milk to 2 cups and add sugar, powdered milk, ghee, nuts and cardamom powder
7. Place the fried luchi in the syrup and cook for 2 minutes
8. Garnish with chopped pistachios
9. Ready to Enjoy!
