Curious about where Cat/Yusuf was living these days so I found his Wiki page THIS is where I learned of Boots & Sand! Naturally I had to check it out....after all- Cat, Dolly Parton, and Paul McCartney! WHAT??? I saw Dolly in the car but where;s Paul? Love the song and each time I watch the vid and listen I find a part I'd missed before, like, "Sir you're on the no song list." If you know the history, he was stopped from entering the U.S., as he was on the No Fly List!

Paul could not get to the video shooting...so ... the beetle at 1:40 represents the Beatle... as does the Black Bird at 2:07... Paul also comments after " What kind of song is this ?"Paul says "Well I think it's a good one...." and he plays mandolin on the tune.

Nashville is 2 hours from where I live. My friend who lives there agrees with me: the airport can be one of the rudest places in the US! They were much nicer this year when I had to fly for work. Driving there is a nightmare!

I was constantly confusiong Paul's vocals with Terry Sylvester's............ don't know why, but this time I couldn't recognise Paul's typical tones. Anyway, few people know Terry and Paul actually grew up in the same neighbourhood in Liverpool and had long been friends. Surprised by Cat's idyllic relationship with Dolly Parton: she's often very pro-Republican 'patriotic' stuff, she's definitely not a liberal, who'd have thought she would champion Yusuf's cause as a Muslim??? Well, the pair do have a close relationship and have long had it...
