in brief and in english: 1. **Introduction and Recommendations**: - The speaker recommends foreign phonetic videos for learners and suggests observing and modeling the mouth shapes in these videos. - For British English pronunciation, she recommends the BBC phonetic videos, and for American English, she suggests Lisa's American pronunciation videos. - She also mentions other popular English language KZbinrs, such as Lucy. 2. **Training and Listening**: - After mastering phonetics, learners should transition to general listening exercises using simple videos or podcasts. - EnglishPod is recommended for podcast listening. - The speaker emphasizes the importance of not getting discouraged if something is not understood. They can use language partner apps to find partners for pronunciation correction. - For those who want faster progress or advanced oral practice, platforms like Cambly are recommended for one-on-one sessions with native speakers. 5. **Intermediate Level Tips**: - The speaker suggests that by the intermediate level, learners should move away from apps and focus more on extensive reading, listening, and speaking to improve substantially. - Emphasis is placed on understanding and using words in context rather than rote memorization. - She recommends reading original English books that are not too archaic or complex. Some suggestions include "Tuesdays with Morrie" and children's books like "Charlotte's Web". - For listening, she suggests resources like BBC, TED Talks, and popular English TV shows like "Modern Family" and "Friends". 6. **Advanced Learning Strategies**: - The speaker emphasizes the importance of maintaining a daily learning habit, even if it's just for 15 minutes. - She suggests a flexible approach, mixing and matching different learning strategies based on individual schedules and preferences. - For those who can't dedicate daily time, she recommends concentrated study sessions at least 2-3 times a week. 7. **Conclusion**: - The speaker acknowledges that the video update took time because she wanted to curate the best resources for her audience. - She encourages viewers to like and support her content if they find it useful. The video is to cater to Chinese speakers learning English, and the content is rich with resources and tips for effective language learning.

It would be nice if you also addressed your Chinese learners audience. Intermediate or upper intermediate content ( HSK 4 above) but explaining everything in Chinese, like you are doing here ( with CC Chinese subtitles)

I do not understand this language but I feel so happy and motivated when I watch your videos 😊😊😊
I teach university-level Academic English to international students, some of which are Chinese students. Most of them do not have a good foundation in English and are struggling, and my heart really goes out to them. After discovering your YT channel, I shared the link of your English learning tips videos in Mandarin to them. They all find it very useful. I believe some of them have subscribed. Here are some of their responses: [10/06 13:34] JIAHAO WANG 我觉得还是有帮助的 它让我知道应该怎么学习会更有效率. [Yesterday 16:27] WEI WANG 嗯嗯 已经关注她啦😸 [Friday 23:02] SIQI ZHAO 谢谢你,老师. 这对我帮助很大 I really hope they do not give up. I realised how hard they've worked in order to get here. I sincerely wished them success. I look forward to more of these English learning tips videos in Mandarin to share with my Chinese students. 我真的很感谢您!
