thanks for two smart and wise TV commentator!!! NBA professional teams can not figure out Zach Edey, something is wrong!
@alanadrienne88709 ай бұрын
The perfect fit is the Denver Nuggets. He literally just fits in seamlessly. They have all the young developing shooting and ball handling he needs to be successful on offense. Defensively he will learn spacing and timing from Jokic, the Art of shotblocking from Jordan and have time to not be rushed in due to Zeek. There future second unit of PWat, Strather, Braun, Tyson and Zack would run second units to rags

He's a great college player... but he plays stiff and doesn't have a good jump shot. He's very competitive and has a great attitude. He'll be a good role player in the nba... possibily a 6th or 7th man. I wish him well... and good luck this weekend.

Look up “Zach Edey pro day workout highlights” He can most definitely shoot, but Purdue doesn’t need him to stretch out the floor like that
@hansgordy9 ай бұрын
@@YeIIowNBA ... that's good. He should have used it this year. He's one dimensional right now.
@YeIIowNBA9 ай бұрын
@@hansgordy They don’t need him to stretch the floor x2 That isn’t his role. Basketball players have roles. No that many people can contain Edey in the paint, so there’s 0 reason for him to play that role of a stretch big. It’s like saying if shaq could shoot, he shouldn’t be in the paint, it’s where he’s most dominant. Purdue shoots #1 in 3PT% in the country, no reason for him to be shooting when everyone else on the floor can.
@hansgordy9 ай бұрын
@@YeIIowNBA ... you make a good point... but I've watched Purdue a lot. There's been many times where he could have turned and shot the medium to short jumper. Better than 3s. That would have opened up the paint even more. I can't argue with Purdue's success. They're a good team... but not great. Edey should be more dominant than he has been.

as where his game has shines in March madness I would be surprised to see him out of the top 10 ... I think he's gonna end up being the steals of the draft he works hard in the NBA he will lose a lot of weight and add speed he started a playing basketball late he will eventually learn the 3 like embiid did

Dragging Purdue kicking and screaming through the whole tourney is a legendary achievement. The college has always been on a mission to botch games when it counts the most, no matter the sport lol. This is coming from a WL native.
@qwerty41269 ай бұрын
Please stop. Edey is a 10 minute player at best in the NBA. Suggesting he's anything other than that sets this very impressive young man up as a bust in the eyes of team that takes him in the draft.

While I agree it's unlikely he will be a major contributor in the NBA, the wild card here is that he's still getting better so who knows. His shot mechanics are not terrible and he's smart so if he develops he could be alright

@vietnam1978 if you think the jump from high school to college is the slightest bit comparable to the jump from college to NBA...I don't know what to tell you.

He's not going high. He'll be in the second round 31 pic. K he can't shoot the ball, he doesn't barely move.
@tray229 ай бұрын
His proday in 2023 says otherwise. He was hitting from mid and 3pt ranges and his times were right with KDs. He needs an NBA team that will help develop his skills more but I think he will surprise a lot of people in the NBA.
