I just unwittingly bought a dual chamber and was forced to make space. Me and my best friend decided we'd get essentially the same rigs. He had already done the research for our builds and I just modified a few minor components before purchasing... when the case arrived I was SHOCKED. I wasnt expecting an Atx case to be so much larger than my 12 year old E-atx cooler master case. It was then that I realized why we bought 10 fans for it 😅. I loved having the internal space while making the build, but I had to put a wire shelf over my air conditioning unit so it would even fit in my room. The ac can blow cold air right into the bottom of the computer so now it's got even more cooling potential. WIN-WIN!

@@Oozaru85 and in most basement compartments, those holes are partially blocked by a PSU and PSU cables…what would be sweet, is if a case manufacturer that also happens to be a PSU manufacturer, came out with a dual chamber case that came with a preinstalled, modular, 1000watt Flex ATX PSU, granted it would have to be xtra long and a custom design, but you could make a dual chamber case that’s capable of handling a Noctua. NH-D15, that’s under 10inches wide. The PSU would be shaped like a power strip however, but with proper placement of the modular connectors, CPU towards the top, followed by 24-pin, followed by your PCI-e and finally Sata connections, you could fancy yourself the best of both worlds…but someone would have to be brave and willing to take a chance…

Great for guys like me who still want to sport a DVD drive for ripping CDs etc., and my 2nd bay has a hot swap drive bay, so I can pop in a drive and back up my system, then remove it and can it in my desk drawer. I have the 3 case fans in the front, one 120mm pulling in from the back and an NZXT kraken liquid cooler which has 3 fans up top pushing the air out. With all of this being said, paired with a 4080 super, i7 14th gen, and 1000w gold plus PSU, I have never seen my GPU, CPU, or liquid go over 40 degrees Celsius. I have had a Corsair Crystal Box and it is a vision in black. I love it, it's not too big, I've never worked in a more luxurious chassis before and I'll not soon forget that experience. I simply cannot find fault with it.

Just got the H9 flow and all that extra room is amazing!

I just built a PC and used the H6 Flow. It’s a great case with great airflow. I put mine on the floor and it’s sweet.

Just got NV5 recently and it's roughly the same size as my previous one, 230mm deep I believe. Cable management is great and it looks gorgeous

i like the extra space, easy in cable managment, fresh air from the the bottom. the are wide yes but for a reason.

I love the Hyte Y70. Lots of room on the front, but that just means room for figures to decorate it :)

I've had a Y70 for about two months now, absolutely fantastic and great to work in. Not sure what people need that extra desk space for.

Woooo ok I thought there were going to be some kind of performance issues mentioned about dual chamber cases. Glad the only thing brought up is the size, which should be accounted for if the builder is paying attention.

I like the H5 flow for the fact it has the bottom PSU area and has the glass front and side

the bigger the better. I LOVE fishtank cases and the extra space. I havent ruled out one day building one in an ACTUAL fishtank

I recently transplanted my rig from a Montech Sky 2 into a Hyte Y70 Touch. There’s nothing wrong with the Sky 2, but it was intended as a temporary case for my rig from the beginning, and cable management in the Y70 was *so* much easier.

I loved full tower cases 20+ years ago. So many Antec Performance towers with 6-8 5.25" drive bays. These days, I want a somewhat compact case that i can fit under the desk and rarely look at.

I just did a build in the Montech Sky 2 and it has ZERO room for cable management in the rear. The back was meticulously managed but the motherboard power cable was "too thick" for the back panel. I thought the Fractal Torrent was bad in that regard.

I agree. My favorite fish tank case is the Hyte Y40 for that very reason.

Just ordered my new parts, going for a white h6 build just because I like the fish tank design and the bottom fan option. Definitely going in a different spot than my current pc.
