Hi Zack! I come from a calisthenics background and I usually think to press my shoulder into my ears during a handstand and protracting my shoulders during a push-up, planche, etc. Here's my question: At the top of the press, are you supposed to pack your lats or press the shoulders into the ears? Pack your lats but allow as much scap elevation *as needed* to achieve full lockout

Both. Reference my “how to grip a kettlebell” video and keep practicing. It often takes a year to build up a tolerance
