Awesome idea scaling this back to just a hundred levels for vanilla survival. You technically had the max speed possible of 89.172 million xp per hour, albeit for only 1.2s. But anymore than that and you wouldn't be having much fun. I reckon with a deicated tech server it might even be possible to break the 1000 level milestone. Might have to try that project at some point.

Welcome once again to the greatest show on Hermitcraft! I'm on the job once more to bring you all the news from our bold Zedaph as he looks to perform great feats of Minecraft! The Zedvancement for today requires quite a bit of grindy work, and Zedaph has expanded his cactus farm for the occasion. As we wait for the spiky dye-stuffs to stockpile, Zed continues his stop-motion-y goodness by giving his base base a facelift, and even adds a lovely dithered gradient! He then works with a chastened Xisuma to replace the cow he killed with the deathwall...what could go wrong? Hilarity ensues as something indeed goes awry, but I won't spoil the fun! The succulents have been collected, the fuel is bucketed, and it's finally time to get 100 levels of XP in seconds...after waiting about a half day for smeltage. How will he collect all the levels? How long will it take? Will he miss an orb as it falls into his base and have to start all over? Find out in the conclusion of the episode!!

For just one player, it might not be that bad cause after all how often do you need 100 levels? And 100 will last a pretty good time regardless of what youre doing. But if you have multiple players having need of mass amounts of levels, the logistics could get pretty expensive FAST. I can only imagine. Cactus farms the size of End islands. Supersmelters upon supersmelters upon supersmelters running 24/7/365 because they take seven hours each so that hopefully at any time one of them will be ready to go.

As per request in the video I think it'll take a bit longer than one would expect since the xp orbs have a certain rate at with which they are collected. You somehow need to gather all the highest value orbs together, then slurp them up in as little a space as possible, as to give them less momentum when they fly around you. My guess is juuust about 1 minuet of slurping! Edit: oh waow xD yea alright. I knew they were the hot thing for a while. Didn't know they were _that_ fast!

Zed you should make a shop out of this. Sure it isn’t THAT hard to get up to 100 levels on the hermitcraft server, but what if you could pay 50 diamonds (.5 diamonds per level) set up two of those cactus farms, and when one side fills it starts smelting and doesn’t accept cactus, once that’s empty a light switches on telling the hermits it’s ready and time to buy. It definitely could have some fun redstone involved and would make a great shop for the other hermits. And if you don’t want to be the one tp actually build it, you could create a shop where you sell your experiments from seasons past and present as patents. So you have exclusive rights to a Zedaph exclusive invention. Obviously it needs a solid hermitcraft spin on it, but I think you get the idea

How about some sort of Zedchievement that involves creating a “Hall of Hermits” where either: A. You create a sort of monument to each hermit Or B. Each hermit creates a monument to themselves They would need to each be within a 3x3x3 space, so it would be minimalist but would be instantly identifiable as a specific hermit.

A really cool zedvancment would be: you build a very secret vault(like at the world border, so nobody finds it, then you would steal a big thing from each hermit, of value ( for example, a diamond throne, a pet, a charished item. Ect.) You could make a cool hiest for an episodes or two. After a while bring each hermit to the vault, and show them there stolen thing. But dont tell them why there going to this vault, they shouldn't even know it is you who stole it. You could make a little PI shop to fool them into trusting you. Love the amazing videos. P.S the vault could have a cool door, and that could be a zedvancment too. The most dramatic redstone door ever.

Zedvancement idea: break every kind of armor as fast as possible. You'd need a 4 dispenser setup to trigger every 4 ticks, and something to do a tiny amount of damage to you every 4 ticks. You'd also need to pre-damage your armor ahead of time. Chainmail, leather, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite x4 pieces = 24 broken armor pieces in about 1 second.

This is the perfect engine for a game that could use a mending bonus in the middle of a match or round , could even be used on decked out

I have a zedvancement idea “Fight and flight” Kill 1 of every mob that can fly while flying with an elytra without touching the ground. (All damage to the mob must be done while flying) This includes the bat, parrot, bee, vex, phantom, ghast, blaze, wither and Ender dragon. If you’re up for it you could even do a player

I've gotta say, this season has been top tier, both with Zed's editing skills through the roof, the challenges pushing the limits of the player, and never knowing what's coming next. It's been a long time since a hermit has been able to achieve that level of video mastery. Very happy to be along for the ride, and can't wait to see what you do next, Zed!

I hope the technical community is paying close attention to Zedaph this season. There's tons of useful information that could potential be used for new concepts and contraptions!

It's inspiring to see your improvement as a builder since you began hermitcraft.

Zedvancement idea: most simultaneous vanilla advancements. As an example if you shoot a mob and kill it with the first arrow you ever hit with, you'd get take aim and monster hunter at the same time. If you used a crossbow you'd also get old betsy, and if it was a skeleton 50m away you'd get sniper duel, for 4 advancements at once, I imagine there's better though. You could use your cam account since it (probably) doesn't have any advancements and set up whatever the scenario ends up being that gets you the most.

I was building some cottage houses in my world, and I made a gradient pole just like you, and with similar blocks! Very cool!
