I have been struggling stetting up the Zettlekasten system in Obsidian. As a beginner coming from Notion, I found it quite challenging and I took that as my motivation to learn more about it. Thanks to your videos I was able to get around Obsidian and set it as my new knowledge system at last! PS. You should definitely get more likes!!!!

I use Obsidian different than that method😂 The app is so flexible that I prefer to use tags to keep them organized. I find tagging to be more effective to the way I take notes. Obsidian Sync is fabulous!!!! Speed and reliability are top class compared to Evernote. 👌🏻

Thanks for the explanation still stuck on chapter 2 of the book "How to take smart notes" by Sonke Arhens. Though hub notes start once you have enough notes on a specific topic, such as, i.e. moss, I take a note of how it grows, then another on what type of organism it is, later on connecting them or inputting them into that hub note, "moss." But what makes it a permanent note? Is it the state it's in, or would I have to make another note for the permanent note?

Sorry if someone already answered but around the 10:30 mark where does the link on the reference info lead? To the actual youtube page or a page in Obsidian? If page, where do we store it? Also the same question for the link to warren buffet where does that note go in the system or are those links to the internet?

Hi there! Thanks so much for your questions! I will make these connection more clear in the future. The [[Warren Buffet]] links to a page within Obsidian. This is just a blank page named "Warren Buffet". The reason I linking to a page like this is that if I want to look for all literature notes about Warren Buffet, all I have to do is going to [[Warren Buffet]] page and I'll see backlinks to all literature notes related to him. The Links within the note (to the other 2 videos) link to notes in Obsidian. They are stored in a folder. I will soon make an updated version of my current setup as it looks much different than this already. So stay tuned!
