This place opens back in either 2003 or 2005. I used to work at Vicwood plaza which isn’t far walking distance to this eatery. Laksa was really good. It was my all time favorite. Especially so with the cockles.

Bak Kut Teh, hainese chicken rice, Asam Laksa, cendol, rojak & etc actually all is originated from Malaysia, but Malaysia didnt promoted those foods, but Singapore yes, thats y it become these foods become their foods.

Like you say since it's originated from Malaysia, why do you need to promote it? It's already been with Malaysian since the beginning.. only copycat need to put effort to make it their own.. oh well, Malaysia has always been generous.. lol.. Singapore is always kiasu

This shop uses pre-packages sauce-based, like instant noodles pack. It used to be my fav until I saw in their open kitchen with MSG-based pre-package soup-based. The soup is not cooked from scratch. It doesn't matter what ingredient it is put in, clams or not. Don't be fooled. I was disappointed
I came across a cooking show show called 粤味好功夫 and in their promo posters, they have Mr. Chua on it. Does that mean Mr. Chua will be on the show? If so, when?
