Few Chinese people know the names of the Wushu Champions...... Wushu is such a good stuff..... Few Chinese parents want their children to be a Wushu athlete...... Most Chinese people just heard of Wushu in JinYong's novels, and they just look down upon the real Wushu...... Some young man who consider themselves old, like saying bad about modern wushu, but in fact they know nothing of the old forms, either..... Few Chinese people associate Wushu with gracefulness or wisdom......

GUi You 。。。。。。。

@PDZ1122 flashy moves, unnecessary jumps? Sure. Still kicks your ass easily? Of Course. look at those muscles, built with explosive power, none of those body builder bullshit. also, lots of those moves come from actual applicable combat moves, repeat them as much as he did, u use it as instinct in a fight.

Part of me thinks this is amazing. Part of me is wondering if the weapons would actually be useful like that, or if they're mostly just used as props.

Every Japanese know how to admire Karata Most japanese consider Karata as civilized and want their children to be good at it. Few Japanese old men and none of japanese young men, say bad about new Karata. Only when all Chinese parents think of Wushu as a bright future for their kids, only when all Chinese people know the names of Wushu Champions, only when the word Wushu, is associated with QingHua Harvard, Yale, Vienna... then wushu is developed. And it is all up to Chinese themselves

I doubt any real fight in history among martial artists of any discipline was ever fought with this kind of exhibitionist dancing. If it was I can tell right now who lost the fight.
@vp30935 жыл бұрын
it's wushu, its more of an art rather than a combat style, if ur tryna look for combat techniques in asian martial arts go look at wing chung, mui thai, and sanda
@PDZ112213 жыл бұрын
Modern dance, sure. Impressive? Sure. Martial art? Laughable.
