There are some misinterpretations, but in short, everyone related to or helped WuKong suffered an ill destiny. If the celestial court knew that BaJie and Violet Spider had a daughter, they could take her hostage easily. Unlike WuKong, BaJie doesn't have the power nor method to rebel against the celestial court. The only option left for BaJie is to deny their relationship and help Wukong, who has the power to solo the court. In order to give his daughter a safer future, free of influence from the court. And here is the sad part BaJie acts like a brute but deep down he is a softball. He intentionally asked WuKong to leave her alive during the journey. After the final chapter 4 boss fight, the player can return to the map to find a treasure in Violet Siper's grave. In lore, that treasure is to keep a person's look never aging or decaying even if the person is dead. That treasure is the only magical treasure BaJie had since he "confiscated" it back in the old journey to the West story. So he secretly returned to her grave hoping to preserve whatever his loved has left, hoping one day to revive her, but he found nothing. While her daughter will never know how much BaJie has done for her.

The most painful of it is Ba Jie had to let go his love of her in order to end the cycle. To love is to let go even if it's the most painful thing to do, Ba Jie loves her but she cursed him out of her twisted love which cursed her reincarnation cycle.

While the girl not 100% curse, but. She’s his true fate partner. She choose it by her will. Cause Chinese word for spider and pig is very close. So. She choose to follow him in every circle. And she know his condition yet still choose to be with him and died to against the heaven order. But he cant bear it anymore to lose his love which come to his famous phase and impact in my Thai culture and Buddhism When you have love, there will be pain. Sad and sorrow eternity.

紫衣仙子。the violet fairy. she was the love interest of the Bajie when he was the Celestia admiral. Because love was Not allowed between deities in heaven. Both of them were banished to the human realm. she became the spider demon. Bajie became the pig demon. Well.. Love found a way. BTW for Bajie. it was strike 2. he was already admonished previously for unsolicited advancement towards the moon goddess while drunk.

I mean yeah. The Jade Emperor is kind of a dick. I mean one time he asked Hou Yi, the DIVINE ARCHER, to handle his kids who had transformed into nine additional suns and were destroying the world. Guess what Hou Yi, the DIVINE ARCHER did? Spoiler alert, he shot arrows at the 9 suns. Jade Emperor, shocked, gasping at the fact that the DIVINE ARCHER shot ARROWS at his sons, banished Hou Yi and his wife to the mortal realm

What I kind of interpreted from this chapter was this section was meant for Zhu Bajie to grow as a character and achieve an enlightenment he never achieved in Journey to the West. At the end of the book, Bajie, instead of becoming a Buddha, becomes Cleaner of the Alters (his job is to clean up and eat the spiritual leftovers of alter offerings), which shows that he as a person still had a lot of spiritual cleaning to do. This chapter suggests that part of it stems from Baije's relationship with VIolet Spider. Baije's relationship with Violet Spider was essentially a passionate fling: they found comfort in each other, as well as used each other to cope with their own personal problems (Baije in his attachment to excess and feeling unloveable as a person, and Spider in her own excess and never feeling fulfilled in love). It was the first time either of them ever probably felt loved in their lives. However, Baije moves on, and with great difficulty, abandons VIolet Spider to follow the Tang monk in Journey to the West (he decides to change his live to be a better person), while VIolet Spider is left pregnant, abandoned, and just cant let him go (he was liturally "the one that got away"). Baije returning to Velvet Spider is essentially him being forced to confront a lot of the trauma he has regarding past relationship with her: VIolet Spider grew old in his absence and died. She had a baby, who very much resembles Baije as a human (their daughter liturally and symbolically is the long lasting results of their relationship, which both disgusts and saddens Baije). Over the course of the chapter, Baije goes from rolling in the mud and turning into a wild Boar, while saying how he's not going to leave Violet Spider again (it shows now only how difficult it was for him to leave her the first time, but also his regrets in abandoning her), to Baije walking away from Violet Spider and his daughter towards the lotus head that rises after defeating Hundred-Eyed (in Buddhism, the lotus is symbolic of the journey to enlightenment in that it starts out growing in the mud, rises from the mud and filth, and blooms clean). I think that might be the meaning behind why Baije struggles to walk away from Violet Spider as she says "You haven't changed a bit...you fool." What she says can be interpreted in different ways. There is some symbolic venom in it (You're still the same messed up pig who abandoned me and our daughter...you fool), but also a tremendous amount of melancholic love in it too (You're still the same man that I feel in love with all those years ago...you beautiful fool). That's why Baije struggles so much with himself to not turn back and return to her as she dies...that one phrase is all of Baije's past trauma and regrets rolled into one sentence. Even though he struggles, he manages to push forward and let her go once again and for the last time, achieving personal enlightenment in a way.

Nah. He's not that strong. Even when he was in heaven, he was one of the weakest commanders. Though his feat is also transformation like Wukong, he has nothing else special. He's actually the first villian in the novel before Kaun-yin made him to join the pilgrimage team.

Yeah, the squad was basically 90% Wukong and 10% everyone else, Bajie although wasn't that strong, he always got Wukong back in a fight and he was someone Wukong can trust since he was so single minded. When Tanzang and Wukong argued, he would be the ones who mediated the situation. Without him, the journey would have ended at some point.

In my opinion: Zhu Bajie had previously received the 1000-life love suffering curse from the sky emperor. In their previous life, they often meet, make love and suffer because of it in many cycle of their lives (it is said that one example of the their tragic love story* of Sampek-Engtay). After JTTW, Zhu Bajie has received Buddhahood and can live forever (or a very-very long time at least), while the woman (spider demon) can only prolong her life with the help of Wukong's relic (cmiiw). With the death of the spider demon their life lines will not intersect again, she will keep reincanated but they will not meet again in the mortal world as a lover, thus the curse of love of 1000 lives should have ended by that, because the two of them cannot meet again in mortal life. *Reference: JTTW 1996 season 1 (Dicky Cheung version) first part of eps 4/30 and middle part of eps 5/30

I've noticed a significant drop in the graphics quality, especially after Chapters 4 and 5, which is quite disappointing. The earlier chapters presented a much higher standard in both gameplay and visuals, creating a stark contrast. It almost feels like these later chapters were developed by a different team with a lower budget. Don’t get me wrong-the storyline of *Black Myth: Wukong* is fantastic, but this noticeable inconsistency really detracts from the overall experience. I’m surprised that more people aren’t talking about this.
