Zombie, Zombie 2, Zombie flesheaters. This masterpiece has a lot of names. This was the first Fulci film I saw and I have probably seen it 30 times since then. This is a film filled with talent. With the grand master Fulci as a director you get far but we also have Dardano Sacchetti and Elisa Briganti behind the script, Fabio Frizzi who wrote that outstandig score, Al Cliver playing Brian Hull and Giannetto De Rossi and Mirella De Rossi making the effects. What a team. I just say masterpiece.!

This music theme is a perfect example of how a simple and minimal melody can produce such an emotion. Excellent.

Those Italians sure did know how to craft a horror theme. This is easily one of my favorites, and an inspiration to my own musical sensibilities, and composition. Of course, the "Conquistador" zombie is iconic.

I saw this movie years ago as a kid in the early 80's and it scared the shit out of me. What got to me the most was the eerie soundtrack. Till tis day as I play it now, it makes the hairs on my arms stand up. Best theme music for a horror movie...pure genius!!

One of the all time great zombie movies. Definately a top 5! I was such a gore movie kid but this one terrified me as a youngster. It took me almost 10+ years to build up the nerve to watch this movie again. Lucio Fulci had a masterpiece here

I have to say that (in my opinion), this is is the best opening track for a horror movie ever made. I still get chills and uncontrollable laughter when i hear or see the opening sequence. First watched this movie 17 years ago, probably watched it 40 times since then. If you're a fan of zombie flicks, do yourself a favor and watch this right now. Peace out :)

Man, the ending to this movie just creeps the hell outta me. This song playing, with all the zombies marching through NYC, it's pure shock genius.

This music instantly calls to mind the movie... And the movie in turn is still chilling to this day. Even the recollection of it. Not many horror films still hold that kind of lasting power. The original Night of the Living Dead is still definitely one of them.

This is, in my opinion, the saddest, dreariest, most depressingly solemn horror theme EVER. It's perfect for the ending, hopeless, stark, and, for lack of a better word, DEAD. These were some of the creepiest zombies in horror history, and this theme only reinforces the cold mood the movie tries to portray. ...Now that I'm through rambling, has anyone else noticed that the zombies in this film almost never have their eyes open? Don't you think they'd bump into things?

At work yesterday, someone was messing with the walkie, and ended up doing a beat like this, and I said 'Whoever's doing it, keep it up. I love Fuluci horror movies! 'Specially shark vs zombie scenes!' Sadly, whoever did it stopped. I was sad. This is one ony my favorite horror movies now (had to jump through TONS of hoops to get it) and I just think it's awesome. The music just adds so much more dimention to it.

Damn, this theme always makes my skin crawl. Something about it just feels chilling, and the synth effect just adds to the overall feel. The movie might be dated and tastes in horror may have evolved, but Lucio Fulci's little zombie outing will forever be a nightmarish classic.

You severely undermine the magnanimity of the impact of Fulci's unofficial sequel to Romero's Dawn of The Dead by calling it a "...little zombie outing..." pucking foser.

One of the best "fitting" themes ever for a horror film. Fits the monster perfectly. I wish this film got more recognition. Way too often I've heard it described as just a simple gorefest when it's not. As a stand alone film, Zombie counts. To me, it's the most "realistic" zombie film ever made. That's just my opinon though.

I did like the musical score of this movie alot. It was certainly one of this movies finer points. Errie, unearthly, nightmarish and even somewhat sensual at times. It was almost like a macabre version of 'Tangerine Dream, and it also complemented this films mood, setting and imagery very well. So acolades! acolades!

There's a big difference too... A lot of modern films are going with CGI gore and you immediately know that it's a post-production effect. In the 70s and 80s, the blood and gore was right there on the set with the actors. They reacted to it directly instead of trying to look frightened from a ping-pong ball on a rod in front of a green screen.
