Sonic Drive is an opening that literally SCREAMS Sonic, that song, among with some other Sonic songs such as "It Doesn't Matter" and some others is literally Sonic incarnated in lyrics, and made as an awesome Anime Opening The lyrics literally talks about a rebel guy who only follows his own heart, who lives only for the present day, the here and now, a guy who loves adventure, who loves freedom, who loves running, someone who hates boredom and it's really impatient, and even while sleeping still dreams about running free, THAT'S SONIC, THAT'S LITERALLY WHO HE IS!

Yup Sonic Drive does feature half of the vocals by Hironobu Kageyama. It's actually nuts to see how many shows he did music for back in that era, and his voice is really unique.

There's also a NateWantsToBattle cover of Gotta Go Fast :) Speaking as someone who grew up with the English dub, it's full of the usual 4Kidz-isms (censorship). Should you ever want to watch it, watch it in Japanese.

There’s another song in Sonic X. It most notably plays at the ending of the 3rd season (The Metarex Saga) in the Japanese version. It’s called Hikaru Michi (“The Shining Road” when translated into English). There’s no official English version, but there’s a handful of fan made English covers.

Yesssss!! Sonic X Openings!!! I'm excited for that, especially for Sonic Drive, Gotta Go Fast is really iconic, but Sonic Drive... OOH SONIC DRIVE!! That opening for me is the PEAK anime openings for me "S, O, N, I, C, GO!" Also, according to the descripton gotta go fast will be reacted first so it will be awesome to see the contrast beetween Gotta Go Fast reaction first and THEN Sonic Drive, and that english cover rocks aswell! I'd recommend checking out "Catch me if you can" from Sonic Riders. It's one of the few Sonic vocal themes that haven't been covered on this channel yet. While the original version might not be the most memorable, the remix version from the game's sequel is easily one of the best tracks from the Sonic Riders series. Fun fact Live and learn gets played once in the Sonic X series… but only in the Japanese dub, the 4kids sub version has it replaced with stock music as some people call it I’ve heard

"Catch Me if You Can" from Sonic Riders Zero Gravity is a good one. There is an original from Sonic Riders and one from Riders Zero Gravity, I prefer the Zero Gravity version but you can listen to both to form our own opinion on which is better.

TwinbeeMkII here, giving you some suggestions since you asked. Having watched Sonic X's theme, you might also find interest in the original 3 american Sonic toon openings; SatAM, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic Underground. They're defiantly products of their time, but are beloved by many older fans and live on in our hearts
