This looks delicious! If I were to look for these noodles at my local Asian markets, what would I ask for? I have H-Mart and other very large Asian markets as well as a few smaller shops that are specific to particular countries, ie a Vietnamese market. Thanks!

In Malaysia we call this kind of noodles are yellow noodles. The have two kinds one they made with eggs it looks more soft and shiny but this one just looks normal and easy to break, for me I this kind of noodles a lot. Thank you so much for your comments

A very tedious and meticulous process, the end product look so fragile and when dried, I wonder how you’re gonna use them to make a wrapper.
@nokskitchenVeganrecipe52482 ай бұрын
Yes, it is not so easy. But when it's to be used as a wrap you can't fold it. Rather you have to dry it as big as possible. Then when you want to use it, you will moisten it in hot water just for a few seconds. Thanks and good luck!

Thanks for the video, I'm wondering why you remove the soybean hullls wouldn't they just end up with the rest of the pulp?
@nokskitchenVeganrecipe52482 ай бұрын

What’s the point in removing the hulls, if you then stick it all in the blender🤷♀️
@nokskitchenVeganrecipe52485 ай бұрын
If you blender with the hull you can get a little milk and the milk that you got has a bad smell like sour

I'm glad I ve found your channel, it s the sort of demonstrations I m looking for, cooking honest food with plant ingredients only. I remember once being in an Asian supermarket at lunch time and people at till were too busy to leave the till and they had the dumpling soup bowl waiting nearby, and now I saw your film and learnt how to prepare that vegan meal myself with things I already have in my house. Thank you

When making the filling, how much syrup is used ?
@nokskitchenVeganrecipe5248 Жыл бұрын
It is hard to say exactly how much, the criteria are to get the texture to be able to form a ball of the mixture...not too runny, but needs to stick together.

What's vegetable shortening?
@nokskitchenVeganrecipe5248 Жыл бұрын
Vegetable shortening is just fat from a vegetable source, which is solid at room temperature. It is similar to margarine. For example, there is a brand in the US called Crisco.
@sonjas.89112 ай бұрын
@@nokskitchenVeganrecipe5248 Crisco is banned where i live. It is deadly and many people died due to it because it cloggled up the heart valves and arteries.
