I don't think anybody is dumb enough to think money buys happiness, what it buys is freedom, and most people can't handle that freedom. This guy can. I love freedom, freedom breeds time, the rat race for money is a balancing act to make and sustain the more freedom. Enough to give more than it takes. If chasing your rat race gives you something more then freedom then more power to you. But I doubt that's the case for the lot of us.

Sounds like you have become successful by doing what you have been doing. I wouldn’t change that. Money is security. By increasing your overhead you are reducing your safety net. Only purchase things you don’t have to finance. You should enjoy what you have worked hard for but within reason. Luxury is not worrying about being about to afford what you have. Maybe this video is just to get clicks and comments but these these types of decisions can only be made yourself. These are big boy decisions.

If you’re a reader pickup Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara or watch a video on him speak about catering to the upper echelons. As long as your product/service is perfect everything else just comes down to customer experience. The question I would ask is what parts of delivering your service can be improved to exceed the expectations of the guys that wear suits/ties everyday and manage teams of their own? Does that mean better uniforms? Better smelling guys? Guys that go above and beyond connecting with the customer? “Honey when the plumber came today he was so clean and laid mats down everywhere he walked. And you wouldn’t believe how well this guy smelled I think he has the same Hugo Boss cologne as you. He also noticed Rachel’s graduation sign out front and gave her a Starbucks gift card for her accomplishment” It sounds ridiculous but experiences like that where you take care of those type of people go really far for word of mouth

you don't have to live rich, but you can definitely take care of the things you have. I'm not criticizing ok, but if you have that kind of money, why don't you look around and find things that can be improved without "looking rich". Looking at those walls behind you, they need some paint, the roof needs to be fixed, cigarret made your teeth dark, cleaning it will make you look better. Your company vehicles and you looking presentable will bring in more business and you'll be able to help your employees even more. Again, I'm not trying to be an dick

That dude is a billionaire and lives in a fold up house. Warren Buffet drives a 10 year old normal Cadillac with hail damage. Don't do things to impress other people. Doug Casey got into playing pollo in order to spend time wtih the wealth. Not sure I would worry so much about the truck, just do what ya gotta do to be around them more often if you want their business. Doing it through sports meant less time yapping about things they don't care about and more time having fun. Takes 2 minutes to say your into plumbing and stuff, but spend 2 hours playing pollo and they learn your face and name. Next time plumbing comes up your at the top of their list.

If you are happy dont become something you are not. I have been in business for awhile and something I have noticed the ones that have been in the trenches and built a business just know. No matter what you look like. I drive a beater, live in the same house, go to the store in basketball shorts and we would be considered wealthy. I run into another person in business and you know how they are just by the way they talk and its a instant connection. I didnt realize this until I got my real estate license and started being around more wealthy people. Until then I was just kind of in my own bubble.
