I love that that there’s a scene (in another movie) of JLo unable to get her dream cast, then Krasinski’s here with, “What? Like it’s hard?” cracks me up!

I’m loving this trend of unconventional Brad Pitt roles. He’s still doing roles that are remarkable, and even if he has no lines, it’s hilarious just knowing there’s basically a literal empty void filled by, unbeknownst to us, is Brad Pitt, until we’re told.

I've said this before, but this is one of only a handful of movies made nowadays that knows and understands the meaning of nostalgia. It's not about just making lots of old pop culture references in an attempt to sell itself to old moviegoers - it's a feeling. It's the reason why that old pop culture is still looked at fondly today! It's about memories of being a part of that culture and all the happy times that came with it! And who else could collect and curate those memories than children? *That's* what nostalgia is really about: It's about tapping into your inner child to *remember.* And this movie shows this in all the best ways.

I’m an oldster - The Little Princess with Shirley Temple! I saw IF with my HS bestie. We laughed and cried. I think this is mis-marketed as a kids movie when it had the same feeling for adults as Barbie did last summer. Once I figured out I had to ‘suspend my disbelief’ - letting go of the danger aspects of ordinary life - it was such a return to a time of innocence and magic. We can all use that. Thank you! ❤😊

I had 0 interest in watching this but had to pause around 8:40 to take it all in with the twist cause I truly didn't see that coming. This movie is gonna either be a cult classic or one of those truly underrated things. Even before the twist of the IF just touching the guys shoulder and him not feeling alone anymore has me tearing up in my big age. Mr. Blunt is for real going places as a director. I'm curious about quiet place day one (even though its not directed by him). I can't wait to see what they do with the 'Life on Mars?' movie if it ever gets made cause its been in production since 2018 and he's made Quiet Place: Part II and this in that timespand. The premise of that movie sounds extremely good.

So it's just Foster's Home story with Drop Dead Fred live action element. I guess technically it's fine because this is a film for the current generation who won't be watching those. DDF is really old now, most modern kids aren't going to be charmed by it (and their parents will baulk at the dirty jokes anyway) and even Foster has aged out. It's 15-20 years old, guys! I have a high expectation of this movie. first watching the trailer, I'm pretty convinced this movie gonna be good I'm gonna like it. but in my humble opinion, this movie would be better for those parents with small kids. cuz even tho i dont have kids, it give a sense of parenthood, watching your only child getting older. that must have been hard... i keep weeping in the cinema bcos one, I easily cried and overly touched for whatever heart flutter moment. and the plot is just... kinda mindless. like sure the girl can see IF, and then what? next thing you know, she had to find all those adults who abandoned IF. and turns out Ryan also IS her imaginary friend 😭 I find the plot is a bit boring and at one point I get sleepy 💀 it's very light hearted but I imagine it would be better. not a bad movie, 3/5

As a kid, this movie looks fun. But for an adult this movie is kinda creepy, this movie looks like it's based on someone who suffers schizophrenia. Bea is creating those IF's as a compensation for the loss of her mother and the fear that her father might be next
