I’ve used a LPVO on patrol/SWAT in the low 1.44 mounts for around a decade. Great for prone but comms and helmet it’s a no go. Trijicon 1-8 so sight picture with mask standing is a no go. Rely on laser. Switched to Reptilia 1.70.

I have the Gem Tech suppression bolt carrier group. It’s amazing at keeping that gas out of your face. I’ll have to check out the BootLeg system now… Thanks for the content sir!

Would love to hear more about PJ’s 45 with the ramjet. Some people complain about using that since it’s “another potential point of failure” for the gun. But he’s obviously law enforcement and trusts it.

Okay RDS. Battery life still no where near 50k hours. That’s just not true. Recommend you get a metal aftermarket battery cap to prevent damage and lesson the chance of your holster inadvertently turning off the optic. Mine crapped out after 1.5 years & 3k round count, but within 3 days time Aimpoint sent me a brand new unit. No shit!

I ordered a Glock 17 AG rapid force holster following this video. The Staccato P does fit the Glock 17 holster and it does engage the ejection port lock for retention. Optic compatibility can be an issue for the Staccato P in the Glock 17 holster. A Staccato P with a Trijicon SRO/RMR HD will not fit due to the optic interfering with the ejection port lock for retention.

I've been using the bad lever for years on my personal rifle. I went shooting with someone and they handed me their AR without a bad lever and yeah, I had a lot of problems adjusting to it and remembering. I would frequently slip my index finger into the right where the bad lever would be on a fresh mag insert. And even during a bolt lock back I would forget. So yeah, it's great on a personal rifle, but if your objective is to train an entire staff on a single platform, it's better to just have a baseline method of use.

Speed reloads are often considered an anomaly for a few reasons, particularly in the context of tactical and professional firearm use: Weapon Transition Efficiency: In many tactical situations, transitioning to a secondary weapon (such as a handgun) is faster and more reliable than performing a speed reload on the primary weapon. This is because drawing a secondary weapon typically takes less time than reloading the primary weapon, which can be crucial in high-pressure situations. Planned Tactical Reloads: Professional operators often use planned or tactical reloads during lulls in combat or when they have cover. This ensures that they have a full magazine ready before re-engaging, reducing the risk of running out of ammunition at a critical moment. Tactical reloads are typically done when there is an opportunity to do so safely, rather than in the middle of a firefight. Ammunition Management: Proper ammunition management and situational awareness are key components of professional training. If an operator finds themselves needing to perform a speed reload after 15 rounds, it may indicate a lapse in these areas. Professionals are trained to avoid running their magazines completely dry in combat situations by performing reloads at appropriate times. Risk and Exposure: Speed reloads can expose the operator to additional risk, as they require focus and fine motor skills that may be impaired under stress. During a speed reload, the operator might have to divert their attention from the threat, making them vulnerable. Training and Proficiency: High-level training emphasizes maintaining control of the weapon and ensuring that every action taken is deliberate and efficient. Speed reloads, while fast, can sometimes lead to dropped magazines or other fumbling errors if not executed perfectly. In summary, speed reloads are considered an anomaly because they are generally less efficient and more risky compared to weapon transitions or planned tactical reloads. They are often a last resort when other, more controlled options are not available.

When inserting a pistol into a holster, it is crucial to keep your eyes on the tactical field rather than looking directly at the holster. This practice is essential for several reasons: Situational Awareness: Keeping your eyes on the tactical field allows you to maintain awareness of your surroundings. This is crucial in potentially dangerous situations where threats could emerge at any moment. By staying alert, you can react quickly to any changes or new threats. Safety: In high-stress situations, distractions can be dangerous. By keeping your focus on the tactical field, you reduce the risk of being caught off guard by an adversary. Looking away, even momentarily, could result in a loss of control or situational awareness. Proficiency and Confidence: Regular practice of holstering your weapon without looking helps build muscle memory and confidence. Over time, this becomes a smooth, second-nature action that can be performed quickly and safely. Control: Steadily holstering your weapon ensures that you maintain control of it at all times. A rushed or haphazard action could lead to accidental discharges or damage to the firearm. Steady, deliberate movements help prevent such accidents. Professionalism and Discipline: Performing administrative tasks like holstering with precision and discipline reflects a high level of training and professionalism. It sets a standard for others and demonstrates a commitment to safety and effectiveness. In summary, keeping your eyes on the tactical field while steadily holstering your pistol enhances situational awareness, safety, proficiency, control, and professionalism. These elements are critical for effective and safe firearm handling, especially in dynamic and potentially dangerous environments.

Hey check out AT3 Tactical AR-15 Heavy Buffers - H1, H2, and H3 Buffers. They have a rubber plastic spacer between the weights and it really helps with recoil and getting better accuracy. It is super smooth like Spike tungsten buffers, but better.

The settings were designed around a carbine spring and buffer, so just ignore the manual since u probably already have a Sprinco/geissele/tubb spring and an H2+. the settings are actually as follows: 1. Unsuppressed 2. Best option for 99% of shooters 3. Horrifically overgassed setup 4. Now you are just being a big baby
