Hi very useful video! Wanted to ask if those fingerlifts at 5:33 can also be used as rudder. I have the vkb evo premium but I don't feel comfortable having a twisting stick. So was thinking to lock it and use stecs as throttle and rudder.
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 19 сағат бұрын
Hello! Yes they can be used as a rudder (sort of). They are treated as buttons and so can't by default be configured for a rudder. You can use the VKB configuration software and define them as a sort of virtual axis with each press equaling some amount of axial movement. You would also want to bind something to zero the axes as well. Example: Configuring the action of pressing the left finger lift equals 3 units of movement on that axis so requiring more deflection in that direction requires multiple presses. Need to adjust to the right? Press the right finger lift. Gone too far and need to recenter? Press something else (or even define pressing both as equal to zero). I think you can also define pressing and holding as a repeat button press at a configurable rate but I am not 100% certain of this. Someone in the comments on this or most likely the followup video I made had asked this very question. I went to the VKB forums and asked there and I received a quick response which I essentially shared here. It's not something which I have done myself though.

All u need are a bunch of dummy switches, buttons and knobs to build a mock interface panel(s). Absolutely Brilliant idea! Add motion platform and you won't loose your positioning of the panels too easily as the mock controls would really give ya something to grasp during clutch moments. Bravo!! Subscribed <S>!

Thanks! I have considered doing the mock panels etc but to be honest, I don't think it would add anything to the overall experience. After a couple of years of using PointCTRL, I am definitely happy with the panel in front. I have discovered also, that for the Hornet and Strike Eagle which are my current aircraft which I fly in DCS, I don't need the side panels, just something to mount the throttle on as when I look down to the sides, I just point with my hand in the air. I do so little on the sides that it's not an issue. The front one does make a difference for me as I interact with it constantly while flying and maneuvering against enemy. I do still give serious thought to getting something which has actual buttons to try. There's someone who sells an upfront controller for the Strike Eagle (and other jets) and has a version for VR with some textured buttons to be able to figure out where you are pointing. www.etsy.com/listing/1367882636/dcs-world-f-15e-strike-eagle-ufc?variation0=3328509902 People in VR who don't have PointCTRL really like it. I wonder how useful it would be though for me. If anything, I do more interactions in the Hornet and the MFD's than I would with the UFC and same with the Strike Eagle so it may have limited use. I've also heard from others who originally had the MFD frames from Thrustmaster before getting a PointCTRL and they have all stopped using them. They did try for a while to keep them and use the buttons but they found PointCTRL just worked well enough to no longer worry about finding them end pressing etc. A motion platform is definitely on my wishlist and I hope to get one some day.

@@StrIIker-TV I Truly Appreciate the depths you fathom in your reply and taking the time...I like your approach in using the blank board w/ VR...I never would have considered that essentially a "blank skate" could become interactive enough to create a sense of emersion on the cheap...my suggestion was that if you decided to go with a motion platform that could jostle your interactive environment (smooth surface) perhaps place some appropriate "feel" button, knobs and switches that you could use as sort of braille to stabilize your selections in the event of a jink or other like manuver where a motion platform may not allow you the precision to avoid "fat thumbing" a button while rolling or pitching. U could sorce some 70's style radio receivers or even several old push-button phones if you wanted something that wouldn't feel like a dissected keyboard in random locations. I was considering actual replica 1:1 scale panels but id consider them useless in VR as you've proven by completely bypassing the functioning panels altogether. Granted most of the H.O.T.A.S. attributes make some switch panels A. Redundant or B. Unnecessary but if your 98% satisfied now my guess is yould be at 99% by adding motion and 100% by adding some actual mock up switches. Again you've proven nothing would have to function as far as spending hundreds in replica panels. Again Bravo!! You just helped some of us decide if we want panels w/o VR or VR w/o panels. Looks like VR+Motion wins vs Motion and no VR. Cheers!!

I don't do it all the time because it's a pain to edit the sync video at times. I think this is my most recent video in which you can see me using it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYjbo6ykia6ZiaM It is so natural to use and yet it makes such a huge difference. The great thing is that I saved a ton of money not buying MFD frames, button boxes, etc. to try to use in VR. I just move my hand to where I want to press something, and the cursor is there! So simple and so incredible.

You mentioned that stuttering at the end of your video and it caught my attention. I have that occasionally but i didnt know the AGR thing. I noticed that if I was in Auto mode, that switching to CDIP semmed to correct mine also but it might return when i went back to auto (50/50). I like your fix better because it seems permanent.
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 8 күн бұрын
Yeah, AGR will kick in when you are in auto or when in CDIP and have the HUD in command. I need to double check the specific instances which trigger AGR. I did the same thing and swapped out of auto mode (I think I left it in auto mode or something when I was about to land for some reason). As I got lower while flying in the landing pattern, the stuttering started I at first thought it was OBS (the software I use to record the videos) so I stopped recording (which is why the end is all external shots from a track replay.. which I actually liked). The stuttering persisted so I fiddled with modes, probably turned on the air search radar and stuttering stopped (but I didn't know why). A day or so later, I was on a low level ingress for a loft attack and figured I'd enable AGR by taking command of the hud and immediately the stuttering started.. I quickly switched modes and then back to auto for the loft and all was fine for the attack (and I nailed the SAM site). I think I recorded that mission as well.. One possible solution is to decrease the core count dedicated to the radar in the Special settings for the Strike Eagle. I have mine maxed (I think it's 6?) but I have a beefy CPU so it SHOULD be fine. I might try decreasing it.
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 8 күн бұрын
Okay so AGR kicks in automatically.. Here's the excerpt from the manual... The AGR mode provides slant range measurement for target altitude determination, target designation or position updates. This mode cannot be selected and is commanded automatically every time the CC determines that a slant range is necessary for proper designation or weapons delivery. It is worth noting that AGR mode interrupts other radar mode operations in progress and should be carefully monitored by the aircrew. These will be described in other sections of this manual, however below one can find a list of such instances: 1. During MAP / NAV AUTO weapon delivery in A/G Master Mode, slant range measurement is required for the last 15 seconds prior to weapon release. 2. During targeting pod designation when laser is not armed or not operational, the CC will use AGR provided that the radar was cued to the targeting pod LOS. To manually exit the AGR mode, the aircrew needs to take command of A/A or A/G radar display. However, this is not possible when slant range is being measured in AUTO weapon delivery as described in point 1.

I followed this but for some reason after I pass the AB Detent for the F-18 it just sets my virtual throttle speed to 0 in both DCS and the config software. I feel like I'm missing something.
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 8 күн бұрын
Hmm, so this is in the VKB configuration software? So you are in the configuration software and when you push past the detent, the throttle falls back to zero. There is definitely a step missed here (I think I captured it all in the video though). The detent configuration was set correctly? If this is in DCS, I wonder if you are incorrectly binding the finger lift for the Afterburner detent? Is it possible that it's using the binding for setting the throttle to idle? The idea is that once you reach the detent and push into it, there is an action button being pressed. Check here in the video (timestap link) kzbin.info/www/bejne/qKeuZZ6piqeVhrcsi=f1go8R8EYKckwSSW&t=897 and make sure that the fingerlift button press is different from the Idle or off buttons defined on the page. Yes that’s the AWACS. The server admin made a mod for the server which takes the output of a custom AWACS and pipes it through the SRS channel (305.000). You can call for a bogey dope and get the closest aircraft or picture which do which lists 4 of the closest but the audio just speaks the closest. You can also request a picture of friendly aircraft. @@skyecommander2169 Yeah also the game AWACS constantly lists bogeys and it honestly is useless. The server admin on the Burning Skies server made a great choice in that if you don't want to hear the AWACS calls, you just don't tune into that channel. The onscreen display listing the contacts is very useful as well when you request picture because you can see the 4 closest contacts which is useful if an enemy AN-26 transport is at 20 nm and the enemy MiG-29 is at 25 nm because calling for Bogey Dope will only list the AN-26. As for which stream this is (open beta or stable), Eagle Dynamics recently ( a few months ago) merged open beta and stable so there is only a single stream now so have at it!

Thanks! I grew frustrated with TOO because if you just hand-off and fire at the boxed emitter, it might be 100 nm away or 20. So I realized I could slew the TD diamond to the box and get a distance fix. Pressing the TDC designates the location and that's when I realized I could jump to PB mode and fire at the emitter. PB has the benefit of symbology letting you know when it's in range and more importantly, has significantly longer range. It's also much more accurate (at least in my experiences). I have many aircraft which I have yet to fly. I always intend to start learning another but then I figure out something else in one which I know well and then I want to fly that some more. I've decided for now I will stick to the Hornet and Strike Eagle. I really like the Hornet because it has so many modern amenities which the Strike Eagle lacks... but I can't resist the Strike Eagle's raw power, fuel capacity and payload. It's just so fun to fly. Particularly impressive was when they would request a “lightening climb”. All other traffic would be held and a flight of 2 would take off in full burner and at the end of the runway stand on their tails until they were out of sight. Accelerating 90 degrees straight up. Based on your comment reply below, I just ordered a Tartarus v2 to fiddle with - got a used-like-new from Amazon for 75 bucks so not a terribly-expensive experiment to compare against Streambox. A couple questions while I await delivery: does the Tartarus happen to have software config screens that show the current button mapping? (One nice thing about Streambox is that a VR software overlay app can place the button caps live inside the VR environment, positioned anywhere one wishes, so as the button mappings change in use, it's easy to determine which does what without looking outside the headset.) The other question is what method you used to fix it to your thigh - a glued-on strip of elastic velcro strap or something? Thanks again for the vids and useful info!
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 20 күн бұрын
I have a Streambox as well (the big one!) so I am very familiar with it. Here's a video (time stamped correctly to the relevant part) in which I show the interface for programing the Tartarus.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6G5q593aLitf9ksi=DYqIIklEFZUxhtYg&t=448 . Give it a look as I am sure it will help answer your question regarding programming. As to how I strap it on... I have a stretchy velcro strap which I actually have from an aluminum kneeboard which I use. I bought a strip of velcro with an adhesive backing and had planned to use the kneeboards (I bought two) to stick the Tartarus on one and my trackball on the other. The kneeboards are a little too wide and kept interfering with my control stick etc. so I removed the strap and stuck part of the velcro onto the back of the Tartarus and then the other part sticks to the exposed portion of the velcro on the strap around my thigh. The trackball I use has a magnetic base plate and so I just slide that under the strap on my right thigh. I just shot a picture of it and dropped it into my Community tab. Have a look. www.youtube.com/@StrIIker-TV/community. Also, what overlay do you use in VR to show the Streamdeck? That is definitely something I'd like to use. Hopefully it's not something exclusive to Steam as I don't use Steam (I mention Steam because I do have a program in that for overlaying web pages etc. in VR (OVRDROP or something) but I don't use Steam for DCS and have been looking for something which could push overlays into the sim with me.
@ptmavic8995
@ptmavic8995 20 күн бұрын
@@StrIIker-TV Thanks for all that detail and links! Your velcro-stretch-strap attachment is pretty much how I'd envisioned doing it, but I was thinking gluing a part of the stretch strap directly to the back of the Tartarus (or maybe use heavy-duty double-stick tape instead of glue). I like your two-part solution better, for easy removal of the box without loosening the strap - good for pee breaks. As for the overlay, as I recall it's OVR Toolkit, which I believe was/is only for Steam, unfortunately. Maybe there's an update or alternative product for OpenXR by now. I have the small 15-button Streambox on a Monstertech mount just to the left of my Thrustmaster throttle that's bolted to a swing-out deal on my chair (joystick/mouse table too, on the right side) - folds out of the way towards the back, not all the way but enough, when not in use. I sure admire your dedicated rig to avoid all that. But I confess to being only partway there; still haven't finished configuring the Streamdeck for use as I've had many life distractions over the last year. I only got far enough to pull the button caps inside the Apache, as proof of concept that my idea would work, in the Steam DCS version (back when it was possible to run both DCS versions in parallel), but I also prefer the standalone DCS version. But OVR Toolkit looks great - you just keep the Streamdeck programming window, showing the current button layout live in real-time, open on the PC desktop, then use OVR-T's rectangle-defining to bring that image into VR (fortunately, Streamdeck software always loads in the same spot on the desktop as last time, so once set up it works after startup without fiddling around). EDIT: now that I think about it, I wonder if it's possible to load just SteamVR to run OVR-T at the same time as standalone DCS? Been a long time since I fiddled with such things and I'm rusty and old. What I REALLY liked is the green-screening feature in OVR-T that allows transparent masking-off any part of the windowed display by using an eyedropper tool to grab the Streamdeck window background color - once that's set up the button-caps float all by themselves in the air in a see-through mode - and you can drag/drop that display anywhere in view, so can be moved easily for different cockpits. And of course since it tracks the PC desktop display, it's a live display - as the buttons change so do their ghost images in VR. No need to remember complicated menu trees or peeking outside VR. Loved it; great stuff. Now that PointCTRL has finally arrived, I'm getting motivated to get back into configging all the little add-ons I set aside many months ago. All we need now is a non-Steam version of OVR-T, a workaround to run it with standalone DCS, or a similar product. Or maybe with a Tartarus and PointCTRL, like you, I don't need Streamdeck anymore. Sorry for the verbosity; when I get up a head of steam I can gasbag for hours. Thanks again!

@@ptmavic8995 Thank you filling me in on the Steam program. That’s the one I have but obviously don’t use. To be honest, with PointCTRL, the Tartarus and a trackball, one really has no need for the Streamdeck. I only use the Streamdeck for various external shots when I am shooting B-Roll for videos and that’s in flat screen mode. I never use it while flying so I accomplish everything with the afore mentioned devices plus Voice Attack and Vaicom Pro. Nothing else is needed. I use a few buttons on the throttle base for bringing up the chat window or turning on the flashlight etc (and eject). Your plan for gluing the Tartarus was exactly what I had planned with the kneeboard but being able to easily plop it on and pull it off is very nice and I would not do anything different. I am going to try to find out how to make a stretchable strap with Velcro ends (like I pulled off the kneeboard) and also glue in a section of Velcro for the kneeboard. The way I do it now is kind of janky and not ideal as I use the end on the strap where it’s supposed to fully connect to the other end of the strap for a secure connection. Please feel free to keep on chatting. As you can tell, I love to chat as well and help out where I can.

Cool video, do you find PB mode is more accurate than designating in TOO mode?
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 21 күн бұрын
TOO mode is honestly hot garbage compared to Pre-Briefed mode. TOO flies in a flat trajectory from your aircraft to the target so the range is significantly reduced and I find that TOO mode misses much more often than PB mode. In the video, I really only missed one target because the other flight had killed it already before my HARM got to it and the other because it was moving. I assume it stopped radiating while moving otherwise I think the HARM would have guided to it. TOO mode has its uses for snap shots but that’s also what self defense mode is for also self defense mode can hit a target behind you or way off to the side whereas TOO can’t. I have had significant successes with Pre-Briefed mode and significant failures with TOO. Another consideration is to at a bare minimum, make the HUD in command and use the TDC to determine the range of the emitter before firing a HARM IN TOO mode to make sure you aren’t launching at an emitter 100 nm away.

Also happy about no jet wash effects on the server because that would have been... interesting so low to the ground. As for the controls, there's an option in the special settings for ghost controls. Once enabled, you just click the stick and it goes into ghost mode and you can then click buttons through it. Same with the throttle. I generally intend to fly with the pilot body visible for the videos but I often forget to turn it back on once I get the jet ready. You need the body out of the way to set some stuff on the side console for the pilot and WSO. I have a voice attack command defined to turn the pilot on and off which really helps. I wish there was some setting they could implement where the body ghosts or moves the arm when you look down and move the mouse cursor over the arm etc.

Hey Str][ker, Another great video! Hope all is well. I too have the warthog throttle but am thinking of switching to the Stecs for the versatility. For the AB, did you set up the curves for the detent as we did for the warthog or does just mapping the fingerlift buttons do the trick? Thanks!
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 24 күн бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the compliment and I hope all is well with you too! I've been thinking of making a brief followup video to share my thoughts now that I have been using the STECS for a while. It's a similar process. You move the throttle to find the point where the AB initially stages in and note where that is on the throttle. Then place the physical lug there. Lastly, you need to hop into the VKB software to set some curves. I'm hopeful that the video helps enough to get people going. The nice thing with the VKB software is that you can adjust where Idle is and where the AB is via these curves (VKB curves, not DCS). For example, I could set a curve where the throttle is physically at 50% but have it in DCS read as 100% (Full throttle). The throttle scales from zero to this new 100% for what it sends to DCS. Obviously this is not practical but I am hoping it helps you understand the concept. So with the AB detent, you (via VKB software) identify where the max mil power is, and set that percent at that physical detent. The rest afterwards would be the staging increments for AB.. As for kicking in AB where physical finger lifts exist (such as the Hornet), I set a few things up for this as demonstrated in the video. I set the throttle the same way as mentioned but once I pass through the AB detent, I enabled a trigger action to press a button. That button is then defined in DCS as the finger lift button for passing into afterburner. The warthog only has actual buttons for the Idle / cutoff (when you lift the throttle out of off into idle for example) and nothing for AB. That's where you need to play with curves in DCS to match the physical location of the AB detent on the warthog. None of this applies with the STECS as most of the heavy lifting is done in the VKB software. Hopefully this helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

@@StrIIker-TV Great info! I will digest this and scan for future videos and I'm sure, all will become clearer once I actually get the unit. So, just to see if I get it. Instead of setting the curves up in DCS, all is done with the VKB software after determining the Mil/AB position? Thanks again

I hear ya man! DCS and really any flight sim can be an expensive hobby! The nice thing with throttles and control sticks is that once you get a good one, you should be set for quite a few years. I had my Warthog (still have it but don't use it anymore) for.. 10 years + I think. Computer hardware on the other hand.. that's a constantly moving target! There's always an upgrade wanting your money! Take the time you need, save up and pick a throttle, stick base and stick which you think will work best for you. You should be using it for many, many years! If you divide the cost by the number of years it becomes less painful to think about. :). It's why you want to get the best you can afford and is why sometimes you may want to wait a little longer to be able to get a good quality one. You're on the right path at least and are looking at reviews and asking questions and you're not getting blinded by advertising.

Hi! That's an amazing little device called PointCTRL. The things on my fingers have an IR emitter and on my VR headset is a sensor which tracks their position. This then moves the mouse cursor to that location. The finger Control Units (FCU) have three buttons on them and they function as left and right mouse clicks as well as a scroll wheel function. It's a must have item for DCS (or MSFlight Sim). There's a long wait list but it's so worth getting on it. You do not have to pay until you get the invoice when your order comes up to get ready to ship. If you don't want it at that time, you simply ignore the invoice and pay nothing. Hopefully Miles, the guy who makes them, will be able to ramp up production better than he has so you won;t have to wait 2 years (yes, he's currently shipping orders placed two years ago).

Hmm, I am not sure. You do need to make sure that you installed the mod for scratchpad installed. Once you grab waypoints, you just need to press the load waypoints button. There are some conditions for each type of aircraft though. For example, in the Hornet, you need to be in precise mode. For the Strike Eagle, you can't edit an active waypoint and there are other considerations (foe example, since I had made that video, Razbam added the default waypoint of B when you load in. This is a special waypoint and denotes your spawn point in DCS. You can't edit this so you need to create a new waypoint using the letter of the route (for example, the new waypoint is 10A (instead of just 10), etc. Can you provide me with additional detail such as which aircraft you are having difficulty with and what you are seeing?

Also, I have heard of some issue with the quest software and DCS not working properly. I am not sure if this is what your challenge is but Meta made some kind of changes to their software for XR implementation and DCS needs to make a few changes for it to work again. The owner just recently added a custom ATC script to handle runway access. Like you must hold short and wait for clearance to enter the runway. Similarly, you need to enter the traffic pattern while recovering at a runway and await clearance to enter final etc. also you need to take off and land in the correct direction.

Yeah I would do the same but in VR it’s quite challenging to do so. I had gotten accustomed to always being able to see the enemy on the map from flying on 4YA and the Burning Sky training server but the transition to the Command Center server without being able to see everything was surprisingly painless. It did take some practice to settle into it. I also bound a voice attack command to pull up the picture and I do so regularly. Granted it only will show you what it can see as it’s not the all seeing eye of Sauron but I have come to like the balance of difficulty in the server.
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV Ай бұрын
Also, I don’t consider it to be “cheating” as realistically, any air campaign conducted by us would be extremely different from what exists in DCS. We would have superior satellite, aerial and ground intelligence showing current disposition of all enemy forces. We would rip through their CCC in the initial phases and roll a massive ground force through to stomp the enemy out of existence. We would have jamming, multi strike packages with CAP, etc etc. You get the point. So don’t fret over using sneaker CGI as a tool. It’s very much appropriate and helps to compensate for the limitations of flying DCS. ultimately, are you having fun? Do what you want to have fun! Don’t worry about what others do to have their fun. Hell, some people like to spend an hour plotting routes, etc. which is not what is fun for me. They do them, I do me and you do you. Hope to see you on the servers!

I've only flown a couple of times at night in the Mudhen (using the NAVFLIR). Which do you prefer, NVG or N/F? I use the Aero as well. Good tip on the LAW setting. I've never used it for anything other than low altitude (250 AGL and below).
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 2 ай бұрын
Hi! Well, I actually prefer both. The Navflir is handy as it displays heat such as enemy exhaust, missiles etc. I found that using it at altitude has some helpful uses and so I often turn it on. On these servers, I turn it off when I need to see the dots indicating ground forces for a CDIP run as it can obscure them a little. I prefer the NVG's generally for flying at night as I can see everything much better. It was a love / hate thing for a while until I was able to get rid of the blur (using the instructions I provided in the description of the video). It was a pain to turn off and on a lot. It wasn't terrible and I managed but it has significantly enhanced my enjoyment of flying at night. Down side is it violates Pure Client checks so you need to be selective around which servers you want to fly on as you'd need to disable it (easy mode using a mod manager). The Low Altitude Warning maxes at 15,000 which is plenty. It's a handy thing to remind me that I am getting too low. I've taken many an Igla hit as a result when I get impatient and want to drop on a target without first extending (as I should be doing). Thankfully the Strike Eagle is a tank and shrugs off these hits (well, at least 1 hit is okay). I still forget to set it but I am glad I did when I do. 15k can be a little high as you will get yelled at a lot. I think I found 13 or 14 to be sufficient.

@@bazyli23Awesome! I've used Tacca's in the past but this one is particularly easy as it's just a single edit in the file which I like. I created a mod package for mod managers and drop it in when I am not on one of the picky servers. Great to see ya here and look forward to flying the unfriendly skies with you!

This was a great watch. Is the damage mod you mentioned on that server something of their own do you know? Or is it something that is available opensource?

Hi there! Good to see you here and thank you for the kind compliment! The damage mod I mentioned is installed on the server. I had noticed that the bombs and missiles do some pretty nice damage.. much more than on other servers or offline missions. I asked Chazz (the server admin) about it and he said that he has a damage mod but it's just for the 2000 lb bombs. I suspect that it's possible that some of the other weapons have increased effects as I seemed to do better with some of the weapons on the Hornet as well.

@@StrIIker-TV Ive been stalking for a while :D - Yeah the weapon damage has been severely lacking in the Vanilla DCS engine. When you consider all of the effort and planning to put a warhead into a spot and the result is a tiny puff or a non destruction of something - its a real let down.

@@Kestrel38 I definitely know that feeling! I know there is a mod for damage from bombs out there but I don’t know much about it. I think the one on Burning Skies may be a custom one derived from what’s out there. The 2000 lb bombs definitely have a lot more oomf to them and can significantly damage or destroy enemy near by. Personnel are particularly prone to splatter by these which is realistic. Soft skinned vehicles are also much more vulnerable as are lightly armored vehicles. I am not sure about the 500 lb bombs though. I feel at times like they do better but it may be my imagination.

great video, all the head movement is making me sick, did not finish it completely

Hah! I feel ya man! Actually, the head movement in general in my videos is the sole reason I include the "VR" in all of the titles. It's my way of warning people that the video is not the nice, stable videos from those shot in flat screen mode. I know it's not for everyone and can be less appealing than flat screen videos. Having said that, I don't post too many night videos for this reason. I find that I need to look around a lot more in general because I just don't have many visual cues to go by and I'm trying to figure out what's happening, which way the plane is oriented, etc. Also, in this video, it had been several weeks since I had really done much night flying and the loss of the Intel option had distracted me. But.. thank you for soldering through what you could and spending some of your valuable time in the process. I sincerely do appreciate your feedback. It helps me when I make these videos.

@@jebb125 hey CHAPPiE! Great to see you! I know we were on the server together a few times recently. Last I remembered was the other day when you (I think it was you) were after that EWR site but you had some connectivity issues and dropped. I recall later that you were back on and took the site out. I actually liked the placement of the enemy for that one, in that little area surrounded by hills.

excuse me , i just wanna know what is that on your finger ? is it a joystick or mouse ? what name is it?
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 2 ай бұрын
That, my friend is a PointCTRL and it is awesome! In effect, these little devices allow me to move the mouse cursor around on the screen and buttons on them are mouse button clicks and there’s a way they also do scroll wheel movement. There is a long wait currently but I do suggest that you place an order and then some day in the future, you will get an email saying it’s time along with an invoice. If you pay the invoice, you will get the PointCTRL within a couple of weeks. If you no longer want it, don’t pay and you lose nothing. The finger devices have an IR light which a sensor mounted on the top front of the VR headset tracks and moves the mouse cursor to that spot. So I completely interact with the buttons, switches and knobs in the cockpit using these. I don’t have to bind anything extra to my HOTAS. I have posted a few videos showing me using it and recently posted some more. Please feel free to ask me any questions which you may have.

Anyone know why when i add the period after # to make a target it wont load the waypoint on my ufc? The coordinates just keep flashing and gets stuck on it.
@StrIIker-TV
@StrIIker-TV 2 ай бұрын
There are a few possibilities. If your UFC only shows B at PushButton 10 (top right.. which is typical now. After I made the video they made a change) you will need to set the letter as well.. So put #.A in order to get it to start on the A route. Let me know if this solves the issue. I shot some footage to point this little issue out as well recently but haven't made it into a video yet.
