@DeavtheDev Been goin at it for about 2 years now. But actually learning the software and getting used to it took about a month or 2. But actually fully understanding it is just an ongoing process haha.

@@jonei Why would I be joking about about it, as I said they are just kids games, when you grow up you play games that are more realistic so that means first person, I am not saying they are not good games because I know a lot of them are, but why make them look like kids games instead of realistic.

@oldgamer1330 Art style has nothing to do with whether or not a game is for kids... What you are saying is akin to saying Attack on Titan is a kid show because it's "a cartoon." Just because a game has realistic graphics doesn't mean it's for adults. It's the content that matters, not the art style. As far as perspective goes. Is gear of war a kids game? Clearly not. Unless you call using a chainsaw to cut someone in half with blood splatter everywhere a kid friendly game, lol... The same can be said for the first descendant. It's clearly not a kids' game either. Also, some people literally get sick from playing either perspective. They can't control that, and that does not make them a child. You really should take a close look at your values and get off your high horse before looking down on people just because they may or may not enjoy the same type of game as you. Side note. If every single game was realistic shit would get boring extremely quickly. Hades, elden ring, naraka bladepoint, and many other games have fantastic art styles that give those games such incredible character and memorable feel. If you can't see that, then that sounds like a you problem.

@@jonei It is not the games we are talking about but the way you play them. When I was a little boy I used to push cars around on the ground, then when I got a bit bigger I to be in the cars so I used to ride Peddle cars then when I got older I got go karts and then I started driving real cars. It's called growing up and some people still just want to push their cars around on the ground, just like they play driving sims in 3rd person because they have not grown out of that yet, so because of all these kids that have not grown up there is a reason for game co's to keep making games to play from on the ground like little kids. We play these games to simulate real life, but there is nothing real life about using 3rd person.

The fact that you think a majority of gamers want to simulate real life tells me you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. A majority of people play games to escape from reality. That's just common sense. I think I've wasted enough time with this conversation. Please only comment on my videos if you are going to say something constructive. this is definitely NOT worth 500 bucks. youre comparing 3d modeling architecture from scratch to placing unreal engine store assets which a 6 year old child could probably do. brother here got ripped off, i would be furious. again not sure if you understand this, but the person he hired modelled absolutely nothing.

@@yungface4572 even if they are store bought lol. i use lots of bought or even free 3d props for my work, so i dont have to model everything from scratch aside from the actual landscaping, pathing, etc. maybe 500 is a little on the expensive side given that he apparently didnt do that much, but from what i understand he did several hours of work, and he also gave a hundred dollar discount. but you have to see that Fiverr is tearing the prices down most of the time. often you pay way less than you would pay for a local contractor outside of fiverr

Did it feel too zoomed in? I was going for a bit more of a dramatic/cinematic effect like elden ring or sekiro but I know FOV can be very disorienting for some people.
