Dr. Gundry's healthy chocolate chip cookie recipe is a delicious and nutritious alternative to traditional cookies. Here's a summary of the recipe: ### Dr. Gundry's Salty Chocolate Chip Cookies **Ingredients:** - 1 ¼ cups blanched almond flour - ½ cup coconut flour - ½ tsp sea salt (plus more for sprinkling) - ½ tsp baking soda - ½ tsp xanthan gum - ⅔ cup grass-fed butter or coconut oil - ¾ cup Swerve (a sugar substitute) - 1 egg - 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract - ½ cup chopped bittersweet chocolate - ½ cup shelled pistachios **Instructions:** 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, sea salt, baking soda, and xanthan gum. 3. In a mixer or a bowl with a hand mixer, whip together the butter (or coconut oil) and Swerve until fluffy, about 2 minutes. 4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, and continue to mix for another minute. 5. Fold in the chopped chocolate and pistachios. 6. Roll the dough into 12 balls and flatten them slightly on the baking sheet. Sprinkle with a bit more sea salt. 7. Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. 8. Let the cookies cool before serving. These cookies are not only tasty but also packed with healthier ingredients compared to traditional recipes. Enjoy your baking! 🍪

Dr. Gundry has some delightful and healthy ice cream recipes that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without compromising your health. Here are a couple of his popular recipes: ### Mint Chocolate Chip Avocado Ice Cream **Ingredients:** - 15 oz can coconut milk or coconut cream (BPA-free) - 3/4 cup Just Like Sugar, or 1/3 cup Swerve - 1 tsp instant coffee powder or finely ground espresso beans - 2 tbsp (non-alkalized) unsweetened cocoa powder - One bar 85% sugar-free dark chocolate (chopped) - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract - 2 Haas avocados, peeled and pits removed - 3 tbsp chopped fresh mint or 10 drops SweetLeaf Mint Stevia - 1/2 cup 72% (or more cocoa) sugar-free extra-dark chocolate chips **Instructions:** 1. Put coconut milk, sweetener, coffee, and cocoa powder in a medium saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until the sweetener dissolves and the mix is blended. Turn off the heat. 2. Add the chopped chocolate and stir until melted. 3. Place the chocolate mixture in a food processor fitted with an S-blade or blender. Add vanilla extract, avocados, and mint. Blend until smooth. 4. Pour into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours until cool. 5. Stir in the chocolate chips until well dispersed. 6. Spoon or pour into an ice cream maker and churn until thick and set. It will be the consistency of soft-serve ice cream. Serve immediately or freeze to a firmer consistency and serve later. ### Vanilla Bean Ice Cream **Ingredients:** - 2 cans full-fat coconut milk - 1/2 cup Just Like Sugar or Swerve - 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste or 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped - 1/4 tsp sea salt **Instructions:** 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. 2. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions. 3. Transfer to a container and freeze until firm. These recipes are not only delicious but also packed with healthy fats and free from harmful lectins, making them a great addition to your diet. Enjoy your healthy ice cream adventures! 🍦 Is there another recipe or health tip you're curious about?

Thank you for your videos, I live in another country and speak different language but I love this easy way you give the information.❤ also I think I’ve heard from you that allulose sweetener is okay and it’s fiber, but now I’m confused, so is it good or not good?
@GundryMDYT2 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoy our videos, and we're glad they're helpful to you, even across language barriers! ❤️ Regarding allulose, it is a low-calorie sweetener that is generally considered safe for most people. While it does have some fiber-like qualities, it's important to note that it can affect individuals differently. Some people may tolerate it well, while others might experience digestive discomfort if consumed in large amounts. If you have any specific health concerns or dietary restrictions, we recommend consulting with a healthcare professional to determine what’s best for you. Thank you for reaching out, and feel free to ask if you have more questions!

Uselful for the most part, as an aficionado of Spanish cuisine I absolutely love olives and properly fermented cured meats like jamón iberico, lomo, longaniza and so on, also Italian buffalo mozzarella di campania is so delicious, as is any other cheese made from buffalo milk (try buffalo camambert if you can get it!) That said dried fruit being an F is ridiculous. Organic dried fruit with no sugar added are absolutely packed with vitamins and essential minerals, sure they'll raise your blood sugar more than fresh fruit but still nowhere nearly as much as crackers, granola etc., the fiber is still fully there and completely intact. And most of them have zero lectins! I really don't get how they can be any lower than a B, not to mention in the same category as peanuts, popcorn and ice cream.

Hi Dr Gundry, which part of the world are your genes from? I have no idea if you are from Carabiens or Jamaica or Asia, then you are lucky, can eat Coconut products & still your arteries won't get calcifications. A Cardiology doctor relative of mine explained this like that Plus Anglisaxon people like Scandinavian or English people have 60 or over HDL levels by birth meaning they are lucky👏 I'm from Crete Island both mum & mom's side originally ❤❤ So my HDL levels are very low & if I add coconut to my diet, I have calcifications in my neck arteries 🙀 Where we were, raised only with olive oil🫒Cold press. So it's changing from genes to genes we heritage 😔 Nothing scares me more than coconut products, Thank Lord we've met with this type of product later years in my life. I never remember in our daily cooking, coconut included. All grannies died after 83 / 85 But as you always remind us they mostly eat Bitter plants veggies Raddichio or another kind. There is a special one very expensive & hard to clean from its buds etc & we cook it with a diced lean lamp. Hearty veggetable. “Blessed or Spotted thistle..” says its English name is, in the dictionary. Aegean cuisine. King of this kind veggies in our region including Greek & Turkiye coasts but in January mostly… I learned from you a lot🙏 Have less pain now so thank you for your hard work & thanks to your team Love from London🙏🌺👩🍳

Does goat milk kefir block polyphenols? Was thinking of adding black raspberry powder.
@GundryMDYT2 ай бұрын
Great question! Goat milk kefir is known for its probiotic content, which can actually help in the absorption of nutrients, including polyphenols. It shouldn’t block their effects. In fact, combining it with black raspberry powder could be a delicious way to enhance the health benefits! Just be sure to monitor how your body reacts to the combination, as everyone’s digestive system is different. If you have any more questions or need further tips, feel free to ask!
@John-kd1bf2 ай бұрын
@@GundryMDYT Cow milk yogurt blocks polyphenol absorption (the study of this includes yogurt and blueberries). From my understanding it’s the fat in dairy which causes this interference by surrounding the polyphenols. Is goat dairy fat structured differently than cow dairy fat or is there a different mechanism at work. Fascinating topic.
