The dark olive suede captain's are probably the most beautiful boots I've ever seen. More than 90% of the rest of the collection also look spectactular. However unfortunately I am getting swayed by the reviews. Obviously there are a tons of positives, but also many reviews about the heel falling off within the first three months. If im buying boots as beautiful as these, I'd want to wear them any chance i get , so I'm just worried about the durability :(.

Most of them wear their own, but a lot of the time we shoot with Kato Brand. You can find great options at the Gap, Abercrombie, or American Eagle though!

Hello, to clean these leathers you can spray the Leather Cleaner ( available on our site) and use a clean Microfiber Cloth to wipe them down, as well as a Premium Shoe Brush to remove any dirt on the surface🙌

We typically use slim cut jeans to show off the entire detail of the boots but you can always wear your favorite cut of jeans with our boots!

Just got a pair of captains in Arizona Adobe. So far fit is fine but they are super stiff. Any suggestions?

Due to the nature of the leather, the break in process can take a bit of time, however, once the topline softens they are going to be super comfortable. It may help to wear them on and off for short periods of time if you’re feeling discomfort. Naturally, the material will soften with wear and begin to form to your foot In the meantime, I might suggest using thicker socks and walking around the house. Moisturize regularly to keep feet from drying and to reduce friction. If you have a spot that is prone to blistering or have developed a hot spot while you are out walking and running, covering it can help protect it. There are several options, including sports tape, moleskin, gel bandages, paper tape, and special patches.

I must be doing something wrong. My captains rub and hurt my legs just above my ankles. I haven’t heard anyone complain about that. Any i ideas. Of only had them for a week and have worn them for a total of 20 hours.

There is NOTHING rugged about these. Use them in any kind of situation other than walking through city streets, and you shred them in less than a year. Also, there customer service is virtually non existent

Hey Gatrie! The leather we use in this style is considered rugged leather because of its texture and qualities. It's also slightly thicker than our other smooth leather styles. Our boots are designed for casual wear so we don't recommend them as work boots or for intense hiking.
